Can You Do This?

Are you able to run two option files together at the same time? If so how is it done. I've found a few option files with some components that would work well in tandem, any comments are welcome.

No, this can't be done.

Only one option file can be loaded at a single time from a single Memory Card.

You could technically put two different option files onto two seperate memory cards (in both memory card ports), then load the first option file on bootup, then later load the second option file from the second memory card from the options menu. But two option files running simultaneously is impossible.

Well sort of yes. There is indeed a way to add certain elements of one option file onto another. How this is done though, I'm not exactly sure but I was talking to someone on Evo-Web an he seemed quite knowledgeable also stating that it's possible as he's accomplished it.

Really? :eek:hmy:

If this is true, then maybe he should share how he managed to do this with the rest of the PES community. ;)

Copy the second option file to a second Memory Card. Then go to Edit Mode, Data Management (or something like that) and there are some stuff you can transfer from option file to option file.

You can save an Option File onto your memory card and when you load up the Game, go into Edit mode and you can load up another except you will lose the previous data.

That's only partially true: you will only lose data that you wish to overwrite with data from the second mem card. You don't have to load up the whole option file, you can select the parts you wish to bring in.

Yes .... I think you need to download Pesfaneditor 6... i have done this to do the following...
Take players etc from one OF
Transfer kits/logos etc from a different OF to the first OF

This then mixes the two to get the best out of both OFs. You are ofcourse limited top what you can transfer...
ps i have spent ages on merging and fine tuning my own OF (which is pretty sweet) however i have decided to enter the world of patching, this appears to be the only way forward.

All the best
