Can't choose kits before matches in Master League

...and, I presume, in the other league and cup competitions.
Once again Konami outdo themselves in the incompetence stakes.
I just played two matches where my team and the opposition had practically identical kits.
Tell me I'm dreaming and there is a fix or I missed something!
When is PES going to stop being the lesser of two evils and live up to it's potential?...sigh..

Sorry if it's too obvious, but do you have kit selection enabled before matches in your setup?

This has been discussed dozens of times in this forum. ML has NO kit selection and NO option to activate it. So you're better off creating your own team and assigning them a purple kit or something.

I'm not sure about this, but I think you can only select strips in exhibition mode.

For ps2 you are allowed to choose kits in master league before the game

My version is PS2. Sorry, wasn't aware of this problem on other platforms.

I have both PS2 and Xbox 360 versions of the game and I have to say that there is nothing to make you go buy the 360 version instead of the PS2 version. In fact I would say that the PS2 game is better. It has a great World tour mode and it has random selection matches. It shoots itself in the foot with the ML classic players glitch but apart from that it is a superior game.

Luckily, i only paid £20 for my 360 version. Just realised I paid more for the PS2 one.....

Interesting comment on the 360 version. I only have PS2 but it's getting to the point where I am consindering a next gen console, so it's interesting to know that Konami appear to have rushed out all the versions of PES2008 this time...

the main problem ive found with no kit selection is it thinks red and blue clash so if chelsea were at home to boro, chelsea would play in there away and boro in there home

While we're on this [and I know this should strictly speaking be on the Moaning Thread] but who else misses the option to mix and match the kits? E.g. having England's home kit but swapping the shorts to away?

Sad I know but this was was favourite new feature of the game when it was introduced....

I have just ordered the PC version. This bug sounds annoying, but i have only ordered it to play online, i will use my ps2 version for ML etc.

With regards to the mix and match kits i also thought that was good, just changing say your socks so you didn't have to change your whole kit.
