over at evo web work has already begun on the patching of the ps2 good news is that the kits havent been encripted so there is talk of a ppf patch. also reading on inserting boots people are saying that when they open the game and look at the files official boots are named i read addidas and puma another good note for patcher is that the file system hasent changed so adding boots should be easy. considering how much effort konami put into encripting the kits last year looks like they really cant be arsed with the ps2 now.

Good news, hopefully it will work.

Can't believe they did that to the boots. Maybe they were forced to. I wonder what editing will be like on PS3 or Xbox360.

Well Pro is dissapointing this year, i know i used to play pro when there were no kits at all lol, but now that i experienced kits on the game i expect them to make editing better. You cant even have three stripes on a shirt anymore. Adidas fked over Konami for fifa cause they want more fifa fans but i for one will stay loyal to pro evo.

well jay z the bloke who did alot of hard work getting the kits sorted for evo 6 is alread working on a relinked epl kit patch he says he was90% done. so it should be around quite soon he was also saying it will be a ppf, but to be honest your better off with a patched evo 6 i played 08 today on the ps2 and well its quite disapointing no stepovers no ronaldo heel turn and as far as I could tell nothing different to evo 6 game speed a little faster.

the games too fast from what I've experienced so far... but back to editing:

- no stadium builder? I thought we were promised that...?
- not a great kit editor...In all honesty its shit
- no boot editor at all!! wtf?

I really dunno why Konami insist on pissing us off with little things like this? they've took a step forward from PES6-but still not as good as the PS2 editing we once saw?

yea there really is no need for it and as for the c.ronald heel turn and the stepover skills there just a few animations that could have been put in to the ps2 version im sure, so could the diving .
