can't re-install pes 2009 (pc)

i un-installed pes 2009 but i have problem re-installing it. i keep getting a error 1305 -
D:\program\KONAMI\pro evolution soccer 2009\img\cv06.img.

any ideas how to fix this problem ?

Have you got rid of all the Konami files, you need to make sure that theres none left at all.

Then re-install it

Is it having trouble copying that file? I'd clean your disc.. just use a soft t shirt to wipe off finger prints.... find that file on the disc if you can and see if you can copy it manually...

Do you get a choice to skip, or ignore or anything like that? I guess we need more info.

i'm sure i deleted all of the files but i'll search around, i didn't get a choice to skip the file

I had this aswell , but with 2008. I couldnt reinstall it at all .. I was looking the error up on google and 1 guy posted on the forum that i wouldnt be able to reinstall it unless i reformatted .. So if it keeps happening , that might be your best bet m8 ( if its the same error as i had, i cant remember it now )

i think the problem could be that since i first installed it on my computer i've changed my motherboard and there is only one connector for the hard drive and dvd drive so one has to be set to master and slave. do u think this could effect the instillation?

This is an extremely bad idea, even a 'soft' t-shirt can damage discs.

You should use Microfibre cloths instead

Nope... as long as you're seeing the HD and the DVD drive you're fine.

Its not a bad idea, it works fine. Just use something that's 100% cotton and whipe from the center out, not in a circular motion. ONly do this if you see a finger print or a scratch or something... if hte disc looks fine then don't worry about it.

Have you tried installing the game in a different directory?

Hi i'm having the same 'read error 1305' installing cv06.img or cv09.img files. Tried lots of things - swapping the game, copying to desktop, fixing the registry, etc. and no luck. (.....Maybe my 3yr old PC can't read very full DVD's?!?)

I'm currently trying to copy and paste each file on the disc one-by-one however my PC just will not read cv09.img

Could anyone send me a link please to possibly download 'cv09.img' in either original (1.24GB!) or .rar form?
