Career so far - Advice required!

Heya guys this is my season so far

Started as Chelsea with bad players instead of the current squad

My finances which I didn't realise would carry over were high. I bought in 2009/2010

Aaron Lennon

I ended the season winning the English Cup, Premier League and Champions League

My fanbase is upto 145,000 and I began the second season the same way

I made offers after scouting throughout the first season for about 50 players I managed to get - 2010/2011

That's all. Now I'm 10 games in and walking through opposition - maybe up the difficulty? If I can do but is it going to be like this all the time? Does my fan population influence who I can sign?

My finances right now are as follows

£188 million - expenses at the end would equal £160 million

Despite this I'm sure I'll get my sponsors bonus of £9 million, fan and merchandise money so I'll be way over £200 million not to mention having a few prospects on transfers lists

I have loads of money, everything maxed out and as much as I enjoy Master League I wouldn't mind signing 1/2 players. Hell even unhappy Babel turned me down. I'm also rated number 1 I believe as a team

In my opinion you shouldn't buy "names".Try this instead.Get rid of unwanted players.Sell who's getting on and use Youth Team and free agents as the only sources to get players.Every single season offer a contract to everyone in the youth team, then sell or release the bad and leave the good ones, this way you'll have bigger chance of landing up to 3 players with decent stats, and new set of rookies will appear every season.Be careful with spending, cause at some point you will not be able to pay salaries, and you'll be forced to sell players.

Thanks for the advice but how does one search for free agents?

I am selling the fringe players now but finding bids for them incredibly slow. For a few months I couldn't sign youth due to the max amount of players in my squad.

Is it safe to assume as I have development etc maxed my youth players will turn out at least okay?

EDIT: Another question - if I started with full squads as in Chelseas would I have the same problem signing players? Or is it simply because I'm on default crap

What level you playing on? Because, if you've won the treble & you're 'walking through' opposition on top player with default master league players then you must be like some sort of pro evo zen master.

I find the default players are shit. Really awful, so generally I pick a naff team and build them up on top player level. Always with the proper players though...
