I always play League Mode ether alone or with a mate. So it came as a big surprise to me that it pays of to finish in the top 3 (Ligue 1) and probably top 4 in EPL, Serie A and La Liga. Playing a season with PSG I finished 3rd and the following season I will have to beat Spartak Moscow in a home and away fixture to qualify for the Champions League (1st and 2nd qualify directly). This is so cool and adds to the fun and lifespan of the game. Yes Konami you made this thing just right! Thank you!

Shame its not in ML or BAL modes, it would have given it a bit of oomph. I never play the league formats I dont see the point when the ML mode is there tbh. This might make me play it at least once.

As I said its a bit of a stupid move not being able to use it in BAL mode, but im not 100% certain its not in ML mode but I highly suspect it to be the case.

i wouldnt be surprised if they did leave it out of ML, cos then next year they can add it in and call it a new feature. :fplm:

Yeh the champions league isn't in ML but is it not just the normal european cups that were present in PES 08 that are in this years ML???

I'm so glad this is in. It was the scenario of playing a variety of teams that made me go back to the oddity that is the Master League. Now that I can play European clubs intermittently during the EPL season, I will go back to that.

ML was always a bit too easy if you started with Liverpool or whoever, while I have no interest in starting with the ML default players.

Thats why you take a mediocre side and build them up instead of the default crap. Some of the starting players are good enough to keep you going and not to crap for you to hate the mode. Agreed teams like Liverpool and Man U are far to easy to do.

Should start rocketing up that league, I think it got to the point that Ramos was burning the players out to early, like pre-season early with their extra training sessions and no meal before a match. I mean how idiotic can you get players need a meal for the energy fair enough no pie and chips but a bit of pasta wouldnt hurt.

No CL in BAL? But in the track record it says ''Ur first debut in the Champions League.'' Isn't that recommened for BAL?

It should be possible to put the logos and intro for the cl into the Master League using AFS Explorer but I don´t know how to do it. I saw it done on Pes 2008 :)

2. Are there transfers?
3. Is there any limit to the number of seasons?

If the answers to those questions are "Yes" -then- I'm definitely playing "League Mode" this year.
