Champions League

I was so dissappointed when I found out there were no Champions League mode in the ps2 version. Are there any reason for this? They have the license, so why keep it out of ps2?

Probably couldn't fit it on the disk!! (me no expert on this though)

yeah they prob couldnt fit it in. I mean ps3 and xbox 360 have a lot more space for games then ps2.

apart from the space and stuff, i think the Champions League Theme takes so much of graphics in players entrance presentation, themes, stadiums patched with Uefa logos etc etc ...

The Champions League licence/mode is missing from PES 2009 on the PS2 because KCET want to pressure PS2 users into buying a PS3 or Xbox 360. Nothing more, nothing less.

I bet there won't be a PES game on the PS2 next year. Sad but true.

Unfortunately, Ko_nami is right & it has infact worked on me as I have recently bought a PS3 albeit not just for the new PES, was about time I traded in the old PS2 anyway.
