Hey im new to this so a little help would be great, ive unlocked the link using win ra and there all on my usb stick, so that bits sorted. Whats XBM music/playlist? Is that on the PS3?

XBM is on the PS3. Go into the music section (the musical note icon on your PS3) and scroll down to "playlist" and create KONAMI_PES.

Then go into the USB stick ( press triangle) find the files and copy them across to your hard drive. Go back into your Konami playlist, press triangle, then click edit, then just add the mp3 files. If you are completely new to all this, YOU MUST create a folder called PS3 on your USB (using a PC), then in the PS3 folder, create another folder called MUSIC and store your mp3 files in it. If you don't then the PS3 doesn't recognise it. I haven't got the game yet so don't know how that part works in terms of putting the files in the game, but at least you will have all mp3 files ready.

I've managed to put some of my own mp3s in the game but it seems as I can only assign 1 chant to each team :S I suppose the only way to get around that is to use my pc to put all of the songs for a team in one mp3 file, then import it.

And the chants sounds good in the game

Thanks for mentioning that. Will do that now before game arrives this morning.

PS Does anyone know where to find Torres chant (Liverpool's number 9)? I downloaded the chants from a link on here but it wasn't on there.

Ok done that and created my playlist on the PS3. Now in the folder called MUSIC do i have to make sub folders for all the teams with there own chants? Or do i just insert all the chants in that one? Also if i have 6 chants per team can anyone tell me how do i merge them all into 1 long track so i can have multiple ones for a team.
Where else is everyone getting chants it would be great if somebody created a post for just chants where people can put links on.

Unsure on that. I got all the chants from a link on here where all the chants were in seperate folders for each team individually already. But all my other mp3 files (just everyday music I listen to) are just in the MUSIC file without subfolders and they play fine on my PS3 so you may not need to make subfolders. Don't quote me on that though. Try it without, and if that doesn't work try it with the subfolders. The PS3 can be a pain in the neck when it comes to putting files on, as you have to make different folders for videos, music, game data etc, something they don't tell you in the manual!

I need to know how to merge all chants to one track too. Trying to do it now so will let you know what happens unless someone replies beforehand.

does anybody know (roughly) how long a chant can be? I'm going to be combining a few chants on 1 mp3 file to make the illusion of multiple chants. A video on youtube (liverpool) had around 3, maybe 4 i think...

I created 5min mp3 with 5 combined chants. In edit screen where we can play chants from hdd i hear all mp3 to the end, but when i play match i hear about 1minute mp3 and it's start begining :( I think that max length mp3 is about 1 minute. Am i wrong? :)

I've got a playlist entitled KONAMI_PES on my PS3 with the songs I was planning on using in the playlist, when I go in to the game and click on MP3 in team edit it says "DATA NOT FOUND"

Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?

1. These chants are great, but PES doesn't seem to do a good job of implementing them.

for instance, i used an arsenal chant; 'and it arsenal, arsenal f.c, we are the greatest football team, the world has ever seen' and when you are actually playing a game it seems to only loop the first 3 seconds of the chant; 'and its arsenal, arsenal f.c, and it arsenal, arsenal f.c etc' which is no good, and makes the chant sound awful. The chants that are short like ' come on arsenal, come on arsenal' will probably be fine.

2. some chants can't be play tested within the game (for some unknown reason) but work fine from the XMB, thus causing the chant not to be heard during a game.
