Cheaters: who they are, how they cheat, how to prevent, how bad Konami supports us.

Cheaters are clearly the ruin of Pes Online gaming,
in my experience I face everyday a 15% of these loosers.
It's a very high number, and seems to me, situation is getting worse everyday.


CHEATER'S LIST

I'll begin by posting a list of almost all cheaters I faced in 2 months of Pes 12 (pc versione) playing:
they all cheated while they were losing, except for the freezers.
If you want to post the name of any other cheater, please do it.
We will take an accurate list of them.

0-3 cheaters:

KONAMI SUPPORT: AN USELESS ROBOT WALL

All those players have been reported to konami support ([email protected]): I've received only automatic emails as answers.
I searched their names with the "search user" instrument of Pes 2012, but it doesn't work. Very bad.
So I searched manually some of them in the rank: users like Bluesman3 and FCB are still playing and cheating.

Konami did nothing to punish them. Most of them know that there'll be no action against theirselves, and they made fun of honest users.


DIFFERENT WAY OF CHEATING

There are many ways for interrupting a regular game, that explains the different lists of cheaters.

0-3 cheating: the worse cheat. You lose the match by default 0-3. You lose a lot of points in ranking. You don't earn money. You lose 90 minutes of contract for each of your players (also those who are not on the field). Your statistics will drop.
There's no way to prevent this cheat.

Connection problems: usually done by pressing the windows button a lot of time, or turning on software like emule or similar. In this case only statistics drops.
No way to prevent it.

Freeze cheating: game is freezed, usually during the prematch. You can't press any button. The one who disconnects first will lose the game 0-3 by default (and points, money, contracts, statistics)
ATTENTION! You can prevent this kind of cheat being patient! Don't shut down the game and wait. These poor losers will disconnect after a while, then you'll be safe.

Disconnecters: you win 3-0 by default, earn money, points. But you'll lose contracts, and your statistics will drop. No way to prevent.

Own goal cheating: statistics will drop down.


POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS:

1 In the "match results menu" put a complaint button for every match played, or at least for all match won or

lost by default or interrupted for technical problems.
This mean that Konami has to built a staff to keep order, not a computer for sending emails.

2 Give players the choice of playing or not against another player.
Hide ranking, division, points.
Show statistics, so we can choose not to play with users with 60% in the last 10 games or 70% in all the games.

How many times did you know that your opponent was a cheater just by checking his statistics?
We have the right of not playing against them. Konami have to improve this awful Online modality.

System can be improved. Konami! Wake up and do something!


FINAL APPEAL TO KONAMI:

Online gaming has become the main part of games likes Pes.
The Pes 2012 Online modality that you made attracts lot of cheaters,
many honest players are losing time and fun because of this.

A decent Online support must protect honest players, punish cheaters and publicize action against them,

dejecting all the users from start to cheat.

Playing Pes is an hobby, it should be for fun, but it's becoming boring regrettable.
If you are not capable of fixing this problem or to support damaged users,
WE WANT OUR MONEY BACK.

Let's make an useful topic to scream our unhappiness to Konami.

I agree with you. Although I don't necessarily want my money back, i would like to play PES without staying on the edge of my seat everytime I'm winning, hoping the other party won't disconnect.

While your first suggestion is good, it can be simplified: Konami must think of a better system to realize who's causing the trouble, connection issues. Just check who's ping is higher, whose connection has significantly worsened since the match began; is it so hard? Record the connection level of both parties before the match begins, and see how much it's changed over the course of the game, and at the disconnection point. Penalize the right one. In the end, the hell with 0 money / all player's 90min contracts wasted!!! I mean what the hell? What logic explanation you've got to that? I'd rather take the 0-3 lose but give us some of the funds we get anyway when we lose, so we can keep our team afloat.

Also, as the OP said, give us an option to NOT get paired with players with overall match completion rate under 50%, or the last 10 matches... let them rot in hell cheaters.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, DON'T PENALIZE OUR COMPLETION RATE WHEN THE OTHER PARTY DISCONNECTS AND YOU REALIZE IT. (you give us the money and the win, meaning you, most of the time, know who disconnected; don't mess with our completion rate)

You're right, Konami has to give us at least an option to not play against people that we know cheats for sure.

While Konami staff awakes, why I have to be joked from users like Olympiakos and Mr. Fresh (biggest cheaters also in Pes 2011)?

I wonder how many times these player 'cheated'. If it happens just once you should not put them on a blacklist. If they cheated against you for 3 or more times, its clear they are doing something to cheat. Behind the name in your list you should put the number of times they cheated..

What I find by far the worst way of cheating are players like ALONE9118 (add him pls), who pass around the ball in defence so you aren't able to get it when they lead 1-0 in the 50th minute (probably because i'm rated high and they gain a lot of points) .They'll keep on passing it from CB to Keeper, to LB, Keeper, CB, LB, Keeper etc. These players should get their IP blocked for 2 years. Can anyone think of a solution to prevent this kind of play?


btw. I played ALONE9118 3 times in quick 1v1's online. He cheated like this twice (3rd time I won). Maybe it's an idea if we all report these players, mybe KONAMI will finally start banning these idiots.

I think the Keeper-defender cheat is by far the worst. Tis is not a bug, this is a deliberate way of making it impossible to get the ball. If someone does this cheat the last 5 minutes of a final in a tournament, it is just unfair, but somewhere understandable play. But if a person scores 1-0 in de 55th minute and then passes the ball from keeper to CB, to keeper, to LB-CB-Keeper-CB-RB-CB-RB-Keeper THE WHOLE MATCH, he is cheating for sure. These guys are the most annoying players out there. I think you should defenitly add ALONE9118 to your list if you take your list serious.

Users of MOL for PC are going down from 10.000 to 5.000,
this is totally a Konami failure.

I threw my money in the garbage buying this game,
Konami it's clearly not more the giant of videogames seen in the past.

Hiding behind automatic emails, uncapable of solve this stupid problem.
They can't expect anymore that we will pay a lot of money for such a poor product.

Bad online = a lot of Piracy. Noone will buy Pes 2013 to get fooled by cheaters online. They will download it illegally and play it only with friends at home.

Okay,sorry:ninja: I thought u called him a cheater because he has a low percentage of finished matches. Why dont u play online quick matches. There are no cheaters there, beside F***** who pass the ball from GK-CB etc.

i dont reacall watching a real match when the stronger team would give the weaker a chance just to make it fairer.

Hey asshole,

It is cheating. And let me tell you why. - in real life, the losing team will always apply pressure on the defending team in such a situation. When they're passing the ball around in the defence. Applying pressure: every attacker, and every midfielder will mark one of their defenders so they no longer can keep the ball and keep possession like that.

Now in PES, no matter which tactic you pick, none of your players will ever apply pressure like that. You can use the X and the shooting button and all you get is 2 players upfront to apply pressure. That's it. All of your other players will just sit back and hold their positions. Once again, you can't get the ball from your opponent with just 2 players you can control upfront.

Therefore, asshole, this is cheating.
