While practicing various dribbles in the training mode i started doing these little chips in the dribble and my player would continue on and regather. Only a couple of them out of about 10 actually went above head height but it does tickle my fancy to be able to chip defenders and run on. Even the (remaining 8 from 10) waist-height chips could be worked into a move in conjunction with the jump to beat a slide tackle.
Anyway, I was trying the analogue feint when i started doing this move i.e. down-down on the analogue stick. However, it didn't consistently do it so i think it was when i stuffed up the control, maybe push in-down on the analogue stick or something. Anyway, i was hoping someone else more knowledgeable about this could tell me:
a) the exact controls to execute the move
AND
b) if it is possible to or have you ever chipped a defender during a dribble and regathered on the other side? (excluding overhead flicks)
