Chipping the keeper?

Sorry if this is an obvious answer but, in WE8, when I chipped the keeper the ball would go over his head. In WE9, every time I chip the keeper the ball never seems to get above his waist and he blocks it 9 out of 10 times. I used to chip the keeper all the time and now I've stopped because of this. I am using the L1 and shoot button. How can I get the ball higher to go over his head?

there are two ways L1 and then shoot - u need to hold down shoot alot longer than previous versions, about half way from 6-8yards from goal
or after shooting you immediately press R2.

You've now got to slow down a lot to get hight on the ball.

Yeah, slowing down definitely gets the chip higher.

i think chipping in that other one was better, in real life, players like Ronaldo (Prime) can easily chip over the keeper without slowing down much.
