Haha I believe this option file will definitely be world class. There are so many classic team possibilites here which will only increase the gameplay experience.

As for stats, normally i edit them myself bearing in mind the way they played in their era. Will definitely have a look at the pesstatsdatabase.com site you mentioned. Perhaps I can gather a few pointers from there.

not being a smart ass or anything but do u think it would be better to have classic teams without players that play for that paticular team at the moment, for e.g. Messi at Barca, Raul at Real etc.

Its just that it makes choosing a team from 20+ players a lot easier and also when you have great players on the bench you will never play them when you have a "messi" in the squad.

I mean its up to u but personally i wouldn't but hey its ur option file you do as you plz i'm just suggesting, plz take no offence as i know how much hard work goes into creating an option file. Keep up the great work, by the looks of the squad lists its gonna be the best OF around.

If theres any squad lists, player stats you need please let me know, as i could provide you with details to the Tee.

Firstly well done its looking great but I have a few questions. You say its a full classic OF so, what happens to the national teams and licensed teams(as you can't change their names). I'm afraid that players may be imbalanced stat wise, as in is every team will be like Barcelona going forward and basically impossible to stop.Do players actually look like themself cause I used a classic OF before and peoples faces were really bad, it was kinda enjoyable.Also, I'm using Von OF and I love that, s is there any way I can use both as in use your sometimes then vons when I wanna play with modern day teams.. Thanks, good luck with the OF.

That whole licensed team issue is something has come across my mind a few times as it concerns the whole game. La Liga section will have some Classic Teams and some licensed teams also so what I plan to do is either:

  • Replace those players that ive taken and place them with different ones, thus creating a somewhat different team.
  • Filling every licensed team with blank players. Player D1 etc.

Need to remind people that this file is obviously for fun purposes. You wouldnt want to start a BAL with this file because all the teams would be mixed up (Unless you fancy yourself becoming a legend at the elite level, mixing it up with the likes of Maradona, Van Basten etc). You may want to start your own Cup modes or League mode to test your favourite all time team against the best there ever was. But my suggestion would be to keep this file to play with while having a real life OF on another PS3 user.

Release date will hopefully be sometime next week. And thats only Version 1.

Yep, its very simple. I dont know the exact thing to do, but its very simple, im sure u'll figure how to do it. Ive got several on my PS3 due to so many game files.

Well basically, create a new user on the PS3 do not install the update. Ill see if that works with me.

Are you doing a classic vasco de gama team by any chance?They had so many great squads and players, like romario,Juninho Paulista,Juninho Pernambucano,Romário,Felipe Loureiro,Roberto Dinamite etc. if you could them it would be awesome.
