Here's mine (if anyone wants apps & stats I can post these on the Player Creation forum): Banks, Moore, Walker, Wilson, Armfield, Edwards, B Charlton, Barnes, Matthews, Lineker, Greaves. Shilton, J Charlton, Adams, Pearce, Anderson, Robson, Gascoigne, Finney, Lofthouse, Lawton, Keegan. Yes, I know there isn't much cover on the right, but as per the game, only retired players can play for classics (Beckham & Owen would get straight into any all-time England 22!!!).

No THEY WOULDN'T!!!!!OWEN......No way
Hey come on!! Beckham = England's best x-er, fk taker, hardest workrate etc. Ok, he's a ponce, but nobody's perfect. And as for Owen? If he aint alltime English top goalscorer by the time he's 30 I'll eat my gold encrusted pimp-stick!!

How can Beckham or Owen be in contention for places in a Classic team when they've yet to retire?

It was the choices in defence that annoyed me, so I edited out Fenwick, Sansom and someone else to put in Pearce, Adams and Nobby Stiles.

No, if you read my thread starter I state that Owen & Becks would walk into any ALL-TIME England squad. I mean, who would honestly pick Frances over Owen, or RE teacher Hoddle over our man in Spain?

That maybe true, but I can't see it, it's all in blue!

:)
Yeah, sorry about that it, is a cack colour, not as nice as orange for example. An England All-Time 22 must include Owen, in years to come unless something goes badly pear-shaped with his career. But I would also have Greaves & Lineker as well.

yeah, maybe becks but dunno about owen..............I'd say more scholes than owen
Yes, Scholes started red-hot for England. In his prime he would definately push for a place. Has just been so-so for the past 2 or 3 years (good for MUFC though).
