I think they should put him there because even though he plays for newcastle hes retired for england. I couldnt agree more with you about Tony Adams.

I think that's true. To some extent I think it's because when Adams did play for England, Pearce & Ince were often in the side. They used to do much of the "influencing" on the pitch, as I recall.
