Colour problem in patched PES4?

I have a fantastic copy of PES4 patched with jonboyos latest patch that I cannot stop playing as I just find it amazing. The only thing that bothers me are the 'washed out' colours used on kits etc.

I have all my games on the PS2 harddrive and I accidently choose PES3 yesterday (also patched by our beloved jb!) and I was shocked by the difference in colour compared to PES4. Black is BLACK in PES3, not a dark grey as it is in PES4, red is RED and not pink and so on.

Whats the deal? Is it the new lighting effect that is behind the problem? I don't know if its the kit-makers fault (no offence kel, jim and all you others) or the graphic engines? Some will say that it adds to the realism but I think the opposite. Take a look at Inter's kit and you'll see that the black is dark. Very dark. Real Madrids home kit is very, very (almost Persil) white.

Were can you get the PS2 hard drive from and how much is it?

Mine is just a normal Maxtor PC Hard Drive that I use in conjunction with the HDLoader memory-card app. You need a network adapter as well to hold the HD in place. I hope that a kit maker does all of the kits in PEs4 one day in nice, clean and bright/dark colours! A lot of work but it will improve the look of the game a hell of a lot!

Are the patched kits more colourless than the default kits in pes4?
Just wondering whether you are putting down the appearance of the patched kits or the look of pes4 in general.

Even the orginal kits (Juve, Inter, Real) are all just a little colourless.
