Its not really that much hassle.

Its a case of extracting AFS Explorer, then a few clicks, then repeat for other parts of patch, then your good to go.

Alternatively, the patch could be applied with the Kitserver which is a far simpler process but the problem with kitserver is that it has to be updated with every Konami update for your patch to work. With AFS explorer it is your installation that gets patched so no Konami update ever poses any headaches.

and by the way you don't have to replace anything , just add the commentary file to img folder and choose the language you like inside the game system settings ==> Language ==> Commentary Language (this option appears when you have more than one language in img folder)

these are all the ones i have. the best ones are Mexican and German.

the Japanese commentary is the biggest file and have more more variety of comments than the other languages, and they also have 3 commentators instead of 2. sadly, they're all pretty boring and dull. but if you don't like repetition, go for the japanese

edit: i just realized the reason why the japanese commentary is 1.2GB and the others are 500-700MB

in the japanese commentary, they announce names for not only pato, cannavaro, fabregas, but EVERY player in the game, even the fake players O.O. even donovan's fake player (named dotom) in the US national team has a japanese announcement. but what's annoying is if you download a bundesliga patch, all the players have improper announcements for their names. they'll either have eredivisie names or fake player names announced when you select japanese commentary

in all the other languages, they don't announce pato, cannavaro, fabregas, and more

you can check which players have announcements by selecting the commentary language, then going to edit player name and see if they have a name under commentary name

menus files look like : dt05_x.img
commentary files look like : dt00_x.img
x stands for the language
x=e for english
x=f for french
and so on

so you want to download these files and put them into "img" folder inside the game , then english will appear on the menu .

these are all official except for Romanian ??

the french commentary you provided is 417 mb (after being compressed)
but THIS ONE is 366 mb after being compressed (404 mb non-compressed)
and it is official according to FPFRANCE
I already know that the one you provided includes menus but that's only 13 mb (non-compressed)

so what is the difference here ?!!?


the same with the south american commentary
the one you provided is 607 mb compressed
but HERE it's only 538 mb compressed and it's official according to the website ...

so again what is the difference ???

I just want to be sure which one is official to download cause my internet aint that fast and I wanna make sure which one to download ..

so , anyone with any ideas ??

dude, all the ones i posted are official except for romanian. i use all of them regularly and they're fine. nothing's fake or unsatisfactory

they are just not really compressed , only divided into parts
