well after enjoying Euro 2004 so far and watching plenty of matches.

The opener with Portugal had good ol' Peter Brackley commentating and low and behold - he was a shocker, incredibly boring and emotionless and even when Greece scored their first he hardly seemed to care or realise how amazing it was...

I thought he just sucked in the game, but seriously he was just as bad in real-life, konami could have probably scripted it better lol

we need a new commentator Martin Tyler would be nice

but the game was on bbc not itv... and it was barry davies commentating... i assume you are refering to the highlights show? in which yes its quite possible brackley was commentating. he did a match every week for "The Premiership" on ITV

i'm in australia, and he was doing the live commentry for Foxsports for that match and hes about too start commentating in the Czech v Latvia game - i wonder if he does any better

AS long as those bloody things he says makes sense, im happy!

I shoot, it goes off the defender and he goes "OH! What a great shot!"

And this annoys me as well= "They started well, the manager should be happy" the other guy= "A goal now and the fans would be happy too"

And they refer to a team who hasnt held the ball for longer then 10secs!!

At least read the Stats right!

The only way to go is Jon Cotteril and Bira Brasil. They do the South American football on five. Class.
Martin Tyler has the best voice next to Motty, but for me Andy "I hate Newcastle" Gray and Ray "Living dead" Wilkins are definate no-no's.
I can't remember his name, but the guy who did the England - France game with Sir Bob, always goes on about "instant control". He's pretty good.
My most hated pundit is Trevor Francis. He is a total gobshite.
John Barnes on five isn't really John Barnes, it's a robot, I'm sure.
Johnathon Pearce is gonna hurt himself one of these days, it's good to hear his passion, his voice is just annoying as fuck.
