Commentary Patch

Is there a commentary patch for WE8I PC, if so where can I get it from, I just want some variaty.

Beardy's patch is good, it takes the commentary from fifa and uses it in winning eleven. It's a good patch, but presonally I just use the Spanish commentary included, it's not that bad really. But yeh, that's a good commentary patch. Don't be scared off yb the fact that it's the Fifa commentary, I think everyone admits that the commentary in Winning Eleven/PES sucks

Does it load itself or do you have to put it in one of the WE8I folders?

Well, this requires use of afs explorer.
Oh yeah, that reminds me. Wolf made an update to his patch, I think in the same thread of the patch you got, and included is afs explorer. The download link is dead, but pm me and I can send you the mini-patch. This is an important update, and it will also include afs explorer.

That Fifa to PES commentary thing is a good idea but isnt really a good replacement for the original commentary. There just isnt quite enough different files in there - for instance only 3 or 4 different ones for when you score a goal and it gets a bit tedious after a while.

It's better than Peter Brackley and Trevor Brooking. After all, they ARE British, clearly showing that they know next to nothing about futbol...unlike a good Latino commentator, that I use in my Winning Eleven. Hahaha.

BTW, Peter Brackley and Trevor Brooking only have 3 or 4 comments for each thing too, so wtf are you speaking of??

Admittedly Brackley is poor but when I used the Fifa patch it seemed even more repetetive and for some reason after every goal "You still there John?" was played which drove me nuts.

And thre are at least 15 comments for goals with Brackley.

First, I find 15 hard to believe. Secondly, it's better in Spanish in any case.

But I don't speak Spanish so that wouldn't be good for me.
