Right this is probably what the appearance part of a post will look like. By the way this isnt actually Thierry Henry's data, its just an example.

Thierry Henry

One of the best footballers to simply sit back and watch, and undoubtledly one of the best players in the world, I can honestly say that I'm proud to have a player like this playing in the premiership, even if it is for Arsenal!

Athleticism - First and foremost, Thierry Henry is a phenomanal runner. For a person with legs as long as his, his top speed could never come under question, but we normally expect a player with such long legs to have a slower acceleration, e.g. Patrick Viera. But Thierry's acceleration is mind-boggling in its own right, and then when you consider his physique!:shocking: On his day he is probably able to outrun any footballer out there, so pace and acceleration are definitely two of his strongest assets. Konami recognised this well, and I didnt have to change an acceleration of 96 as it was just right. He required a slight boost for top speed, so he has gone from 92 to 94 in that. One thing about Thierry is that his dribbling speed is noticabley slower than his top speed, so there is a difference of 5 between those attributes. Mind you with a dribble speed of 89, and 96 for acceleration he can still beat any defender for pace in the premiership. Good leap as well with 80, although his arial skills are hardly great!

Shooting - Another fantastic attribute to Thierry's game. He is arguably one of the worlds greatest finishers in front of goal, and is deadly from around the box. A fantastic ability to find his footing in pressurised situations and dispatch a perfectly placed shot allow him to bag dozens more goals. So firstly he has shot accuracy of 96, to demonstrate his tremendous abitlity to hit what ever area of the target he wants. His power isnt what he is renound for, but still great at 82. Finally his technique is simply great as well, and a 93 represents perfectly his ability to produce fantastically measured shots in pressurised situations. Also a good time to talk about his curling stat. Konami originally gave him 81 for this I think. That simply does not do justice to one of his best attributes. Fantastic curler of the ball, from both distance and close range, not to mention from free kicks, 90 is a much more realistic value.

Passing
- Konami actually did this part well. Only had to make slight lowerings to his short pass accuracy, but his long pass values were fine. Dont really think we need to go into his passing, the stats speak for themselves.:)

Leadership qualities - Apart from his heading ability:D , this is my largest criticism of Thierry. I do not believe that he is suited to being captain of Arsenal, as he is not a NATURAL LEADER! If you look at fantastic captains and natural leaders, both past and present, they all have excellent mentality! Terry, Keane, Lampard, have fantastic mentality values, at and above the 90's. Henry lacks this quality, and I think its his biggest flaw. His value of 77 is not what you would expect to see from the leader of a side. I think its something he can improve on, but he just loses interest at times and seems to be almost unhelpful to his players when they are not winning. He will stop making so much movement, and his runs wont be as frequent. Value of 77 accurately represents these features ingame.

btw...positive critism....I've been playing with Arjen Robben & Drogba's and I think that Drogba's and Robben's abilities are underrated....like Drogba's shot accuracy and Robben's dribble talent.

Can explain that for me ?

Hmmm, Jowie2910. Firstly I think you have to appreciate what a value of 77 represents ingame for shot accuracy. Im willing to bet that if tht stat had been three higher, and been 'yellow' you would not have complained. 77 is a high rating for a value. considering players like Gerrard, Lampard, Cole have shot accuracy in mid and high eighties, do you really think it is appropriate for Drogba to have a shot accuracy in the 80's? no. 77 is perfect for Drogba because he gets them on target well, and can pick his spot. He still sometimes hits them off target. And combine this with his shot technique value, we can see an accurate balance between these two stats. He can provide good and accurate shots, but under pressure from defenders will fluff chances, be put off, and somtimes miss the target. If he were moving into the mid 80's with shot accuracy we would see him accurately slotting home on a consistent form, which he DOES NOT DO. Most likely, you see him as being a striker, and not having a shot accuracy in the 80's, and you think that's not right. But lets not forget that you rate a player by their ABILITIES, not their position. Lets face it, Drogba's strong point is his physical attributes, his strength, and his power in the shot. Again balance between the stats is essential and the balance in Drogba's stats is just right.

Regarding Arjen Robben, you consider 92 for dribble accuracy underrated? Hmm, again do you really appreciate what a value of 92 will do ingame. It is a world-class level! If we consider Ronaldinho has 99 or 98 dribble accuracy(Best in game probably), then in comparison to that, do you still consider 92 for dribble accuracy to be underrated? Again think of a balance and relevance between players.

i have a qestion , what stat represents pysical power, like when someone is next to you you can push them off. Adriano would have high, robinho would have low.

that Henry update looks very good bagrunnel, one slight thing though...I'd maybe give him slightly higher agility.

Gun runner - Appreciate the point about Henry's agility. I feel that 84 is a great value for agility, because it works in tandem with the dribble accuracy, and complements that value of 92 as well. It gives Thierry Henry the ability to make those quick subtle movements on the ball, but if we put it to high it may look right, but ingame it will not have the same balance with dribble accuracy, and THEN it will probably be more noticabley unrealistic. If you feel it needs to be a bit higher, I would say 87 tops, but dont forget to consider the affect that would have on the balance with other stats. Of course I feel it is just right as it is, but I it's up to you.:) And regarding comparison's, yes I have some ideas for some future ones, but I want to get some requests out the way, including some of your appearance ones:D
