cambo cc - I dont really watch Scottish football, not even just Rangers of Celtic. So I would be lying if I said I would be able to do them accurately. Sorry sir. :(

I have just thought of a very important point to make. To get the most out of accurate stats, it is best to play without any formation arrows on that player. For example, dont play Emmanuel Eboue with a forward arrow. It will upset the balance of his attack and defence values, and YOU DONT NEED TO. The aggression stat will ensure he makes those runs down the wing. So try not to use the formation arrows on the players.

Will try and get another player posted up this afternoon, not sure who though.

cool . no im not doubting your stats but i never really watched him =X . btw is henry's speed underrated or is he that slow ?

Sorry darkorg didnt want to like I was accusing. If you havent seen that much that is cool, but trust me he is that fast. Henry would be about 95 acceleration, 97 top speed. That is just off the top of my head though, no actual testing involved.

I've just tested Ruud VN, and he is perfectly portrayed like in real life. Slow as a cow, but as accurate as Henry.

Bagrunnell, you seem to be turning in to a stat legend already. :shocking:

Thank you very much Timblez, kind words there. Ah Ruud Van Nistelrooy. I love playing against him because I think ah his pace wont bother me, and then we he gets half a yard...... Just like how I feel when I watch him play in real life!

Right I will shortly be posting up a player whom I recieved a request for quite some time ago; Darren Bent

So there we have Darren Bent. He has steadily improved over the last couple of seasons, and has been one of the greatest success stories in the premiership this season. A real home grown talent, Darren Bent possesses many qualitys.

Athletisicm - A great all round athlete, Darren has many athletic benifits which aid him to play as a lone striker. First and foremost, he has pace. Both top speed and acceleration of 85 mean he can give defenders the run around, and if he gets in behind the defence, its very hard for defenders to get back up with him, as we have seen in real life. Great upper body strength is another of his key factors which help him to play on his own. With a value of 84, he can sand up to defenders and his hold up play is very good. An excellent jump of 85 represents his great leap in real life. We can see how these factors help him to play as a lone striker; His pace can get him in and behind the defence, and he can both take defenders on, and latch on to through balls. His strength aids his hold up play so he can keep the ball until a correct option arises. And his leap mean he act as a target man aswell, collecting balls punted up by the defence.

Positioning - A very attacking minded player, Darren is seldom seen in his own half. With an attack of 82 and a defence of 32, he is always going to be hanging around by hmself up front. And with an aggression value of 89 he is always going to be looking to push up high when a team mate is attacking with the ball. With both the reaction and lines stars, when hanging up front, he is good playing off the shoulder of the last defender and can break the offside trap.

Shooting - One thing he has definitely improved this season has been his shooting. With a shot accuracy of 83, he is going to be dangerous in and around the box, and is good at getting shots off under pressure, as his shot technique stat of 82 shows. Finally he can pack a good punch aswell with 84 in shot power. These values accurately represent his potentcy at shooting in real life. Also heading value of 80 shows he is great in the air aswell, so that is another department in which his game has developed.

General Technique - Finally his general technique. A good value of 78 for technique represents his first touch well, given that in real life his first touch is not world class, but serves him well, and he uses his touch to gain an extra yard here or there. Better left foot than a lot of players is also another great feature of Darren Bent. A 6 for both accuracy and frequency show his willingness and ability hit accurate shots on his weaker foot.

This analysis has been a long time coming, as it was one of the first requests I recieved. Hopefully you will all find it useful now that it is finally out. Darren Bent is a great player. The good thing about him is that at the moment he has a very well rounded game. He doesnt really have any world class aspects to him, but he is only 22 so there is a lot of time in which he can develop into a truly great British striker. :)

Okay mate, get back to me. By the way I have been looking at some of those requests you gave me aswell today.

Also, what do you think to the Pirlo/Essien comparison?

I've been wondering for a while. Why are Glen Johnson's keeping abilities 65, when every other outfield players is 50. Is this a Konami glitch, or has he played in that position? :w00t

Aside from that, what about a Kaka and Ronaldinho comparison. Both Brazilians are undoubtedly key players in their team(especially Ronnie). Don't worry if you got no time. It's just a thought anyway.

Yes, in the F.A cup when Carlo got sent off.

The Ronnie/Kaka is a good idea, don know if I have time though.

Oh and Villene, its finally Lee Bowyer day!

hey there Bagrunnel,
sorry I havent been posting any feedback on your posts recently, just got back from Germany.
Now that I'm here though I have just finished updating my PES5 with your newest posts and would like to say they're all excellent. - I especially enjoyed the Riquelme 1 as he is so mis-represented in the game, now I can go about skinning the opposition with him just like in real-life!!! Also the Pirlo and Essien posts are some of your best so far, I didn't even think Pirlo needed any editing really but you have well and truly proved me wrong and I'm amazed at how you do it.
Anyways just thought I'd show a little appreciation, I won't put any requests in cos I think you might have a couple from other people already?!?!?!
Keep it up my friend.

Thank you for reading.
