Erm guys, I was looking through the thread earlier, and my eyes fell upon my Joe Cole post. Now dont ask me why, there are some pretty wierd mistakes in his stats. I dont know if I was drunk when I wrote them or something or just made a ridiculous numder of typing errors. I looked on my game and the stats I have for Joe Cole since I edited him are quite different, so I dont quite know whats happened. Anyway, I have made some tweaks to him anyway, but Im going to just quickly post up a revised set of stats for him soon.

As you can see, there are some quite different variances between what I posted before. For example, aggression and response. I honestly dont why I posted those mistakes, it was so wierd! :laugh: But I made a few changes to his stats in the last few weeks, so I would probably have posted this anyway.

yea I noticed that for Cole there..about his speed. I think he dribbles pretty quickly-fast feet.

Haven't posted on here for a while but i've still been reading the thread. The work is coming along great by the way. I'd like to see a different variety of players posted like George Boateng, Luke Young etc. But you can only do so much and fully appreciate the work your doing so far.
Now i know stats aren't normally what i do but i will start posting some totally unbiased Everton players up pretty soon. The first one is going to be the Welshman, Simon Davies. He's been a hugely dissapointing signing over the course of last season and i feel his stats deserve to be taken down a couple of notches. It may be because of injury why his form has dipped alot and Evertonians expect so much from players at times and if they don't deliver, we'll let them know what we think about them. Anyway i'll get his stats up ASAP and hopefully you'll add him to the index on the first page bags.

bag-man = Some feedback on Lionel Messi, the new stats are damn good, played a 2player world cup last night and he was the top scorer with 8 goals. Only thing is ... should i leave his condition, consistency, weak foot freq and weak foot acc as they are or do you have updates for them? The games he played for Argentina this year he was quite good with his right...

Right, lots to get back to here as I have been very busy.
Firstly two queries regarding Joe Cole. I knew I would have to deal with this at some point! First thing I would want to say is that if that value had been 2 points higher, it would have been a 'yellow' value, and I doubt this issue would have been raised. Dont look at a stats colour or whether its 80 plus to judge it. Dont forget that 78 is a fast value for pace! Just as it isnt eighty doesnt mean it isnt high as it is.
A common myth is that people with great dribble accuracy must have great dribble speed. Not true. Look at Pirlo, Zidane. To a certain extent Joe Cole, but he is still fast.
Now if neither of these things apply to you, and you just think Joe is a lot faster, then lets put this into context. 78 is still going to allow Joe to take on players with pace. He can beat players like Carr, De zeeuw, and Stam. But if he was running down the wing against say Emmanuel Eboue, would we expect him to beat him by pace? No, because Joe isnt extremely fast like that, he's just fast.
Lets not also forget that Joe may appear to be faster than he really is for one BIG reason. If a player is running at you doing blind ing tricks and stepovers, you are hardly going to be at full pace are you? He would dump you down in an instant. So a lot of the time Defenders a lot more cautious regarding pace around him as they know it can be used against them.

bagrunnel you're right...in PES5 you'll notice that by stats...Cambiasso looks terrible, however in WE10 stats which are 75+ appear in a light yellow colour and therefore most of Cambiasso's stats look great coz theyre all yellow...
