Well if I stick to my schedule, I am doing a solid editing session until 2:00AM, so I will use these two hours I will make sure he is finished as I still want to tweak attack/defense ratio, and particularly aggression as it feels ever so slightly off.

Regarding the time I will put it up, really depends what time I get up! But if it is not up when you are on, dont be afraid to get the ball rolling in preparation for the stats.

DJ, the whole idea of the option file is to get as many players done as possible. I have already finished Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and fair bit of Bolton aswell. I would have thought at the very least Manchester United would have their starting 11 done for the file, but probably more.

Definitely. Like I say though, I think in the next few seasons we are going to see him develop what kind of player he becomes. Personally I think he is going to evolve in to an out and out DMF, a la Claude Makelele. Like I said, he doesnt have quite the stamina or pace to play as a complete box to box midfielder, and he has the tools to do DMF to a very high standard. Great strength, good passing, and most importantly he can read the game. Good spacial awareness and sense of other players positioning which is key to DMF I think. I think that is the difference between players like Gattuso and Makelele. Gattuso is all about aggression not much reading of the game, and clever players can outsmart him, but they would be hard pushed to do that with Sissoko.

So how do you reckon Liverpool will play this year? I struggle to see how they will fit Sissoko, Gerrard and Alonso in (essentials in my opinion), whilst accomodating for the wingers.

bagz i think sissoko does have the stamina have you seen him he runs all game and i think liverpools first team midfield will be

gerrard alonso sissoko kewell when fit/gonzalez

Can I ask how you know these stats will work with PES6? The stat options might be the same but they might make them behave differently in PES6.

Momo Sissoko

Simple answer to that Lorenzinho. I dont know! Im just hoping:(

Right, here are my Sissoko stats which have undergone pretty much all the testing I like to do. One thing I may yet change is his team work value, just reckoning whether to put it higher so as to balance just right with his passing values.

Must say I am very pleased with the values, and he feels really good in the game. Has the right positional sense, and mills just inside his own half making interceptions and distributing the ball. Drops deeper sometimes, but isnt afraid to nip up on a little forray. Generally a very nice balance to him.

Now its important to get him set up right in the formation settings to get the most out of the stats, so here are the changes you want to make. Make sure his role is set ot DMF, and set defence to medium. No attacking arrows, and put his mark setting to 'covering'.

Take note of his attack defence ratio. At the moment it is very balanced and swayed a bit to attack, so make sure you apply the settings above right. I think in a couple of during the next few seasons we will see the ratio swing around and become more biased for defence, but at the moment, he still has the attacking instincts with his defensive qualities.

I would tell you what i think of Sissoko but my pro has broken, I'll be getting a new one on the weekend though so i shall register my thoughts then. Any chance of seeing a few Pompey updates in the option file Bags?

sissoko stats look good. will you be posting the stats off your option file.

I believe thats the point of the file, so Bags can get more players done by not writing detailed descriptions and writing up stats etc etc.

Captain Cabinet - There certainly will be pompey updates on the file sir. Hopefully the staring 11, but definitely the likes of Mendes, Kanu, Campbell, Taylor.

And these Sissoko stats are taken from the file as it stands. Like I said this set is basically completed, the only thing which may change is the teamwork value.

Right so back to a point earlier. You are right to say that Sissoko has great stamina ATH10, and that is why he has that value of 85. But to play as a pure box to box MF regularly and consistently, I feel you need extremely high levels of stamina. We are talking 90+, the likes of Essien. If Sissoko was to turn into that kind of player I feel he would definitely need to improve his stamina, but I dont think he will go down that route.

Let me be the first (and probably only) to say YAY!. Can i also make the point that the file, while set to be fantastic, may be better if you were to wait 'til the release of Bluescouse's next option file and then input the stats to that file and then send that round to the people who want it. Obviously this would need you to converse with Blue on the issue but how do you feel about this?

Dont worry I have already contacted Blue about these issues.

IMORTANT NOTICE

I have had many people saying that they may have problems with using this file as they dont have a max drive. DONT FEAR! There is a small program you can download called 'option file editor'. This small utility is very useful as it allows you to open up option files and edit the player stats. You see how my stats are presented? That is a screengrab of the option file editor. By using this you can simply open up my file, view the players, and put the data onto your PS2 by hand.

I wouldnt recommend people to put my file on to their game by itself as it has ONLY edited stats and formations. It is those simply applied to a download of the default option file, so if you used it, al your faces, teams, players, boots, kits would be no more!

Where do you find a download for this "option file editor", and is it virus free? my computer has undergone maintenance for viruses and the like, so i don't want it to ruin my computer.
