converting solidus chants

I've found that if you use We7 Editor Lite.exe to open solidus afs chant files, you can then export each chant file as a ces file, Then if you use CESExplorer.exe you can import the ces files and export them as vag files. Then i've found a program called Awave Audio, which unfortunately is a 30 day trial, but you can load up the vag files and save them as wav files. Then if you use adxencd.exe you can convert the wav files into adx files, which you can rename the extension from adx to bin and import them into PES 3 using AFSExtract.exe.

I'm a bit new to all this editing for PES but it seems if we are prepared to put some effort in we can use solidus chant files for PES 3 on the PC.

can't we just replace the ces files in the data_e.afs?
do you have a link to the chants? I can't see them at Lomgtuntumbley's

Oh i see what you mean, like i say i'm new to this..:). Well i think theres a problem with that, because if i export the original CES files using AFSExtract. Then i can't load them into CESExplorer, yet i can load in solidus CES files into CESExplorer. So although they are both CES files there seems to be some difference between them. So i'm thinking if i replace the original Ces files with solidus ones they probably will not work. We need to be able to convert solidus ones so they read the same as the original ones. I might backup my data_e.afs and then try importing solidus one's just to see if it will work or not, without looking into away to make them read the same. But how can you have two CES files yet CESExplorer reads one but not the other, how can this be, any ideas.

SOLIDUS J2K CC PATCH V6.AFS

SOLIDUS PATCH V9.0 AFS

I'm sure someone must be able to help out here, this really needs to be sorted, as it would be cool to have these chants in the game.

Well i've looked into it some more, and have found i can't play the original CES files within AFSExplorer 2 that came with the game, yet i can load up solidus afs files into AFSExplorer 2, and play his CES files. So it seems that they have changed the file structure of the CES files for the PC version. I've surfed the net looking for CES editors, but have only found CESExplorer, does anyone know of anymore editors..?.

Are CES files a KONAMI in house format..?, as theres very little info on the net about these files.
