I have a question, and I've been lurkin' for a while, ain't saw a thread covering it. On corners, my center backs never go forward, it's not really a problem 'cause my forwards are in there with a midfielder or two, but the center backs who are deadly in the air stay back in my half. I play 3-4-3, my three defenders are set to high defence, with arrows pointing back towards goal for all three, with left, and right defenders having an arrow pointing out to their side of play. It works well, brilliant for overall play, and defending, but I can't get them to go forward on corners!

Is there anything to do, to have your defenders go forward on corners and set pieces? I just remember it used to happen on previous games. Sorry if this seems a really daft question, but, it's been puzzling me.

I don't know how tactical your game is, but if you don't already have a formation A or B set up, I'd suggest copying your main formation to one of them and then set your defence to low and give them attacking arrows running forward.

I occasionally do this, but I find I can score 6 or 7/10 corners by playing the ball into the near post. I would like to vary it up more, but hell I play to win and don't give a damn how the ball goes in! ;)
