hello people!
has anyone found something that works consistently for corners? in the games before i could usually score them pretty easily, but in 9 i can't seem to find any heads. any suggestions?

and on a side note, is there anyway to challenge someone in a lobby or is it just sorta random?

as for corners aim near post use up when crossing to get more dip and try to keep the power of the cross half way.you can callenge the ball by pressing r1&r2 togeather and pushing the other player off the ball.

scan the area 4 the closest players 2 the ball leavin out the short corner option obviously n then wen crossin hold up n use about half power i find at least a goal scorin opertunity cumin from this if not a goal

I like to drive them in at the near post, hard and low, with some out-swing. Have someone strong to receive the ball and you will win it a lot. You also get lots of useful deflections, especially when you consider how close the ball is to the goal line.

I've recently experimented with pointing the kicker as far away from the goal as possible, holidng and up and hitting a full power outswinging corner. There should be someone standing about 30 yards out and I hit a first time volley with him. However, there is often someone in the way and success rate is fairly low. You also need someone with very good shooting skills. Closest I've come is hitting the crossbar with Van Bommel, and I've tried it a lot. Needless to say this is a corner you only want to try when you've got a comfortable lead and/or you want to wind up/embarass your mates :D

From my corners I like to play out to the edge of the box for one of my players to go for a volley, with all the players in the area it deflects into the corner of the goal most of the time.

Aim the ball so it is as close to the line as it can get tap circle twice only letting out little power and curl it. There is usually someone to knock it in

If a player is free at the near post and is free or the marker is behind him then hold forward and the direction of curl till the bar is filled 1/3 just before half. If there isnt a free man then hold the same buttons but fill the bar 2/3 nearer to 3/4 then half, then bang some headers in.
