I hope Konami just start again, actually take on board what the fans are saying. There are plenty of people who like PES2011 but as I suspected more and more people are getting fed up with the issues of pace, the always accurate CPU through balls and dumb defending.
I worry though that what I (and others) want is unrealistic, maybe its just plain beyond Konami to get it right ... its certainly beyond EA anyhow ... but I can see alot of people turning their backs on PES if the 2012 installment is shat.
EDIT: In response to 'unfair AI' I think he has a point but I would word it as 'Bias Scripting'. On Top Player the game exceeds player parameters to challenge you in certain situations. Yeah it sounds sour grapes saying its 'unfair' but ... it is. Its also lazy programming. I've played enough on Top Player to see it and trust me thats not challenging, it just puts you off playing.

I actually think anyone who finds pes2011 playable must be 12 years old who doesn't know shit about good video games
Im 27 and I like the game . I know its not saying much but its the first 'decent' footy game ive played since PES 6 .
3 years is a long time without a likeable footy game , I know many of you still dont like it and fair enough. It is flawed eg player switching and defenders catching fast attackers .
I havent ventured on to top player yet so I havent experienced the 'AI Scripting' as of yet though I can imagine from past experience what thats like.
re: through balls , they seem too accurate even if you see it a mile off theyre very difficult to defend. There is an element of cpu pass assistance which I dont think can be turned off unfortunately .
I could accept it correcting the angle of your pass as you wont always be right on target but the cpu shouldnt correct the pace of your passes.

The guy who wrote this post shud shut the fuck up this pes is great it has better commentry more staduims loads of real faces even bayern and werder!new ball official league balls better bal more hair styles finaly gp came back more skills better passing more game speed options and ur still moaning shut the fuck up u kno some poor kids would dream to play this and if they ever got it theyd still ply it even if they dident like it because there mum might be poor and have spent all her money on it and u cockly little piece of moaning lucky piece of shit on the ground is still moaning

The game is far from perfect and there are still too many bugs that konami haven't fixed but it's still better than FIFA! 
To begin with, I play PES with a friend in same team as me. Well well, I understand statements about AI cheating on top player through balls.. Though I've only been happy to finally been outplayed by AI attack.. Never had that before as AI attack was so predictable. And probably the fact that there's 2 of us humans doing the defence I haven't seen any cheating by AI on attack so far.. Only lack of skills by us.
Only REAL bugs I see on the game so far is the bug that the wingers aren't pressed enough by AI defence.
AND, one which I haven't seen any comments so far.. is the most annoying to us so far. That sometimes you just can't give 1 touch pass or shot, etc whatever you want to do immediately. Like the ball bounces to you in a clear cut chance near goal the guy doesn't pass / shoot but lags something.. tries to trap the ball or something. It's kind of like we don't get to control the player early enough.
THIS has been annoying.
Still it's a fun game. And definitely a lot different that last few pes's, which is cool! And challenging too! Looks like we got no chance to get to Division 1 with our ML team in first season this year.
