CPU and Bookings?

I play on 3 star difficulty, and in quite a number of games, I have not yet seen the CPU get booked once while playing them. Is this some sort of known problem, or am I missing something? Infact, they never really make a bad challenge :/

You generally get more bookings the higher standard you play as the computer is more competitive. On 3 star the CPU stands off a lot which means you get less challenges and therefore less cards!

i play on level 5 and you should see the fouls that 90% of the refs let them get away with i can get to the point where it becomes very frustrating

or you can think it as a way of reality, since they are some bad calls from the ref in real-life matches too

true but when its the animation where the player gets thrown about 10 feet in the air after being tackled and the ref does nothing

From my experience i have found the ref to be pretty fair. Although i don't agree with many of the decisions the refs give in PES4, i haven't noticed any preference for the CPU. I play on 5 stars and i'm partial to the odd poorly-timed slide tackle or two, and i get away with just as much as the CPU does.

sometimes players dive, so maybe the ref didnt give any fouls, u can see the players dive when he fell on the floor and roll.

I find that if you play fairly yourself for the first 30mins the ref rarely books you, even if you make a horror tackle late on. If you chop people down first ten you nearly always end up with a yellow!

I've had the game for about 3wks now. Over here in CAN it's called WE8I, I play on 4* still a newbie really. To me the refs have been very fair, I've gone plenty of games with no bookings against me and I've played many a match where the CPU is the only team to receive cards.Twice now 2 CPU teams got red cards and one of those teams in the match received 2 reds and was knocked down to 9 men. This game is the closest thing to playing outside on real grass. Remember there are different refs, it could be catching the right ref on the right day or wrong ref on the wrong day or even the ref favoring the home side a littlte, whats wrong with that it adds to the game and you just got to try and swing the momentum of the calls the other way. I've done that a couple times now by trying to quickly clean up my defensive play in the match. I'm just lovin this game.
