Crackdown is a futuristic, next generation, online take on the wide-open Grand Theft Auto genre. You play as a super-human agent assigned to take out the filth that has starting filling up all corners of your city. The city's thousands of gangsters have grouped together into three criminal organizations: Cai-Shen Corp, an Asian gang that uses hitmen to extract revenge, The Volk, a Russian gang that specializes in guns, and La Muerta, a Spanish group that loves cars. Your overall goal as an agent is to defeat the bosses of these organizations, bringing peace to the city. You are a one-man super army, but if the going gets too tough, a friend can jump in and play along with you in co-op mode to bring an unstoppable crime fighting force to Pacific City.

Anyone planning on get this game in a couple of weeks?

The first time I played the demo I thought it was quite bad and was mighty disappointed, but I played it for about half an hour building my stats up and realized what a beauty it is, I was picking up cars with gang members in 'em, jumping about 25 feet in the air and throwing them into buildings. Co-op is looking mighty fine too, shame it's only 2 players, but it should still be a mad laugh.

it's the multiplayer part of halo 3, I think you get to play the first build of a map with other players online or so I have herd.

The Halo 3 Beta is just an early build of the Halo 3 multiplayer, Bungie is releasing the Beta to the public to try and work out any bugs and problems so they can fix them before the actual game. Most games that have shitloads of people playing them go through a similar thing.

Anyway, the demo is quality, and co-op is fantastic. If you haven't done it yet, just make a massive pile of cars and then throw a few grenades in the middle, the explosions in the game are awesome.

Crackdown demo didn't impress me at all so I doubt i'll get it

Resident Evil.. they all seem to be good, won't know until a demo is released or I buy it.

great game but seems like it could get boring after a while and you could probably buy the Halo 3 beta from ebay even though it doesn't intrest me that much as it's only a beta test

Crackdown is top fun co-op. I also took the liberty of getting all the stats to the fullest. The grenade/explosive one is pretty sweet and looks quality. The gun one just makes head shots easier and shit. The agility one is so funny it increases speed and jump and you can climb the agency building and big wheel. The strength one allows you to pick up trucks and stuff and throw them about like dolls. The driving one improves handling but also with agency vehicles they evolve. The fast car gets guns, the SUV gets a jump and glide ability (it's mint) and the truck gets turbo. I will enjoy this co-op but not solitary.

i think people will buy this game just to play the halo 3 beta, i'm getting crackdown because it looks like a great game, the beta is just an added bonus

I was going to get it today, but I played the full game in Virgin and it didn't look all that good really.

I do not own yet but will get in town at some stage this weekend to purchase it. It really is a great game co-op wise but on your todd may be a bit boring. Me and my mate have live so we will both get it and complete together. Also more important than the actual game is the Halo 3 Beta which opens up on April 1st and runs foer a month, this is reason alone to get the game.

Had it since the first week in February, got it free from a mate in the game industry like with just about all my 360 games.

Not too bad for a good bit of run around and kick the shit out of people, although very easy to complete even on psychotic level, i'm just going through the crap of getting the gamer points for winning all the road and rooftop races etc... when i can be bothered.

Not played co-op but guessing it'll be much more fun.

Rented this out Yesterday, good game. I'll probably add it to my 360 collection eventually, just splashed out £25 squid on PES6. I love going around collecting them agility points off of rooftops. Brilliant feel to the game, although I still can't lift a car. Half a ton I can lift.. Whilst jumping 20 ft high .
