creating kits

hi i am new to patching and i have successfully applied jonboyo's patch and now i want to create my own patch for teams of WE united and PES united. so far i know how to import kits, however how i dont know how to create them. i already have a template, but how do i change the colours of shirts, and how do i insert sponsors? and which program does everyone use to do this? (eg. paintbrush, photoshop, etc.)
would appreciate if someone could help me.

I use paintshop pro, I'd suggest reading help in the paintpackage and messing around with the tools to get used to them first

Do You Start From A Plain White Template?
Or Do You Cut Parts Of The Kit From A Photo?

yes i downloaded a plain white template, but yeah i am unsure about how to paste sponsors on. i imagine you cant cut and paste them, because then the contrast wouldnt be write, anyway i may try to download a trial version of paintshop pro and see what i can do.

You need to know how to use photoshop or a similar program.

You can find ready templates on the internet. That is, .psd files that have two layers. One where you paint the kit and one that holds the pattern of the kit wrinkles.

I have tried to make kits of my own but i found it way to difficult as I don't know much about photoshop, that i use. My main problems were 1) how to put sponsors and badges on the kit (copy paste doesn't work like you said) 2) where exactly to put stuff (like sleeve lines etc) because you don't get to actually see the result until you burn it onto a dvd. So I ended up making very basic kits with stripes etc.

If anyone could help it would be great.

an who told you that copy/ paste thing doesn't work ? - cause it does work - I've made loads of kits over the last year since I've discovered how
to do it ..

And it's not very hard relly you just need to be dedicated to it and keep progress from one thing to another so that you'll find it peace of cake in
a 2 month time ...

copy paste works fine, as I said, learn the paint package first, layers, vectors, cut\paste and resize for starters

thanks very much people. but do i have to cut certain parts of the kit to fit on certain parts of the template. how do i make the cut the right size of that part of the template?

as I said, read the paint package tutorials and help. I will help but am not going to teach people to use paintshop or photoshop

they are the uni***.bin files, but you won't be able to open them, somemore searching is needed

thanks for the template jim. one thing how do you get your kits to come out with nice perfect lines? Mine look like little kid drawings and it doesn't help that i can't draw to begin with. is there anywhere to get kits already made?
