Crossing for volleys?

Does anybody know how to cross the ball back outside the area for volleys??
I try pressing back but they just cross the ball into the six yard area.

You could try :L1: + :triangle: and aim it outside the area.

I will try this..... do you think this would work for overhead kicks aswell because i also find them very difficult.

also any other ideas would be appreciated.

Overhead kicks occur in PES as much as they do in real life, which is hardly. So you'll have no luck consistantly trying to pull them off mate.

Try this in training.

Cross it in, look for the yellow cross on the pitch(appears when balls airbourne! you know what im talkin 'bout!) , use r2 + r1 to get between the cross and the goal (off ball manual player positioning)!!! Time shoot very late, Nearly guarenteed volley overhead or scissor!

The only way I ever get a volley is how Tom Pain suggested. Overhead kicks and bicycle kicks are extremely rare though.

Ive never performed a bicycle kick in the game I dont think :S

the only way i get to score volleys is from a cleared corner ive only ever scored 1 overhead kick by martins and scored about 5 sissors kicks

I performed 1 overhead kick when i was Barca, the ball came in from a corner which a defender headed it away then Xavi volleyed it forst time but hit Silvinho's head and bounced upward then Silvinho pulled off a spectacular overhead kick but to be denied by the crossbar. I was so bloody frustrated at that, but i guess shit happens

Scissor kicks are very easy in the game. Especially with classic players. I have never scored a bicycle but I do get the odd attempt.

my players always miss the ball when they attempt an overhead kick this happens once every 15 games.

I usually go all the way heading for the backline. Get as near as possible to it and hold down L1 while you press O twice.

if u just stay in training that bit longer and try that bit harder youlll eventually figure out which way to move youre player to try overheads and volleys.you just have to think of it they way you would need to move to try it then move him into that position.
