Crowd Chants Need Serious Attention!

Similar to in PES 2009, the crowd chants in PES 2010 are in need of serious attention!

The present state of the fan chants in Pro Evo really makes me wonder what the hell are Konami thinking of? I mean, it is fkn awful the way the game loops 'Liverpool, Liverpool, Liverpool, Liverpool, or whatever constantly, without let up.

Dont get me wrong, I am all for crowd chants (real ones) in video soccer games and will be patching my PC install of the full game in due course, but what about those playing on consoles? THEY DONT EVEN GET A CHANCE TO TURN THIS HEAD-ACHE INDUCING GARBAGE, OFF WITHOUT TURNING THE VOLUME OFF ALTOGETHER!

The way things are at the moment with PES is that I dont actually want to play it until I can get the sound files patched because the chants make me feel sick at times and at the very least, put me in a bad mood.

Considering how little effort it would take to improve this aspect of the game, I think this is an issue that should be addressed in a OFFICIAL DOWNLOADABLE PATCH, never mind the next iteration of the game. Even implementing such a simple system as only the chants of team that is winning will be heard would improve things massively.

In the likely event that Konami dont bother their arses with such a trivial issue (that really does ruin enjoyment of the game) until the early 2020's, it would be nice if the doss kunts would at least provide an option to turn the droney nausea inducing crap off.

I 100% wholeheartedly agree, and playing on the PS3 its an abuse of the good nature of the followers of the game. Next Gen not ex Gen & being a player since ISS days of PS1 & bought every version since, Seabass's shoal would be wise to get a better Quality Control/beta testers, or is it just that they're more bothered about realeasing something to compete with fifa even if its half a job?

Another thing I noticed was the noise level of the home fans. It's great that the home teams receives a louder support, but not on neutral ground. I was doing the world cup and every "home" team had more and louder chants; and if the home team concede, there's silence. I think there should be an option to choose the location of a tournament, if not a specific nation, then at least continent.

Cant Believe I am about to say this But......

Finally after all these years of buying the pro evo series I have finally given in and conceded that EA have outdone Konami this year. Many people told me Fifa 09 was better than pro evo last year so I tried and disagreed. But this year as a Doncaster Rovers follower I bought Fifa 10 and was amazed at how much the game had improved and then having bought Pro Evo10 on the day of its release as I always do, couldnt believe that the simple problems from the previous year were still all there!!! The commentry is awful compared to Fifa, the online is an absolute disgrace again compared to Fifa and why do Konami think we want a load of teams called team A, B etc????? What a waste why not get the Championship as I,m sure it wouldnt be that difficult to get the football league to agree. Hopefully one of the guys who do such a great job on the option files will do this for you again Konami!!!!! Dont know why you bother actually getting any teams authorised as generally the transfers arent up to date and the guys doing the files for us always improve everything tenfold. Maybe you should pay these guys as they make the game playable and almost enjoyable. Shame you cant use the downloaded files online???? Anyway lets just say it again that after defending you guys for so long I am no longer in a position to argue and have to agree with the millions of Fifa players that it is indeed right to claim that it now is the N0 1 footy game on any console.........

one good point about the crowd chants, from a celtic fans point of view, is when playing at home you hear the fans singing 'hail hail', well chanting it anyway, not actually the words, but i think thats fantastic!!
