IT all depends on who you play i beat Newcastle 5-0 on 5 stars in the league with the pool and then beat Arsenal 1-0 in the cup with a fluky deflected shot with about 5 mins left.

but what i don't understand is...

i like to play pes as realisticaly as possible ,the only way u would be 9-0 up in the first 15mins is if u just kept on running at goal all the time scoring the 'sweet spot' goals and close range tap ins, plus the odd long ranger.

which is unrealistic.

when i kick off i pass the ball back and pass it around a bit,i don't just go all out and try and score as many goals as i can because THATS no fun!!!

I think you'll find that to your average gamer, PES3 is if anything a little on the difficult side.

I've been playing since ISS 98 and each time it becomes more of a challenge, any more difficult and it becomes less accessable to newcomers.

yeh, i reckon this pes3 is kinda like iss evolution 2 on the psx, not graphics or gameplay there no comparason just how good it is for a football game on its particualr console

Oh believe me, its not easy, not at all. I seem to be playing 4* now days and you gotta work quite hard to get a goal, although I did find the CPU doesnt play very good football, infact, I can pretty much read their play and the way they cross, they usually turn and then cross almost all the time. But evenstill their is still quite a challenge, because they defend well and really hound you for the ball. Was playing Man U V Real Madrid last night on a 20 minute 4* match, great game it was. Real struck first through Ronaldo who is awsome. Then I worked and worked and worked having to hold on to the ball and not let Zidane get it, who is so alike his real life counterpart its scary...he doesnt lose the ball!!! but I hit back with a chip into the box with scholes, over Forlan's head who controled it with one touch and smashed a left footed half volley low into the net. Great goal...but you know how long it took to get that breakthrough!!!??? but I loved it, cos I earned it. I held on to the 89th minute thinking 1-1 against Madrid on 4* isn't bad...but what happens?? Zidane picks up the ball 20 yards out..beat 2 defenders and fired a beauty....2-1....game over........but hell it was one of the most exciting and dramatic games I ever played on any football game, simply brilliant.

I cannot understand how people can't score on Master League 4*, I wouldn't say Iam the best PES player but even I can win 1-0 on 5* with the shitty starter players!

Come on dude, it's not that hard to believe, some of us are better than others, and I would admit I am no 5* player yet, eventhough I have been playing PES games for ages...I seem to be more suited to and on a level with 4*...although I do dabble in 5* now and then.

I play on 3* and i find it a mixed bag. Sometimes i can win, lose or draw. I certainly wouldn't say it's to easy on 3* because the opposition never seems to be a push over for me. If i win, it's usally by 1-nil, 2-1. My best 3* win was against Rangers 3-1 victory for me in my league. If i lose it's usually 1-nil or so (but i have had the odd embarrasing defeat by Man U 6-nil mostly due to my lack of composure)..

On the whole, I think the balance is about right. i won't step up to 4* yet, as i don#t want a thrashing. I'm still trying to master the 3* game.

HEHE, well I notice that your from North East London, and you're a gooner (rightly so) or wrongly if your a Spurs fan, lol but the fact is you support a London club. Now seeing as though I am quite honest too....I am also in North East London...but I'm Man u through and through....and have been since 89, oh and proud of it too!!...how this relates to the thread I have no idea, but to be "honest" I think Henry is class in PES3, and has scored typical Henry goals against me too. But yeah, even on 3* he was quite a threat, so I can understand you when ya say its a challenge on 3*.

u cockneys stop bitching, arsenal are french divers and u support man utd from london, so i forgot thts the 'local team' wolves are team to be proud of we dont fake not seeing sending offs, or have players who forget drug tests

As soon as i got pes3 i went on to 5* and their was a stage when i was never letting goals in beating the likes of brazil and france.

but i've lost it in the last few games and i've started to lose.

It seems really hard for me in the beggining, now i'm playing 5* and has won 1st division and WEFA in first season playing 5*. Best scoring; 5-0 against Celtic.

I don't think it's easy but maybe when you get your ideal formation and players it goes easier.

I'm not playing with a superstar team, my only cracks are Crespo and Larsson as forwarders, my defense is LEE YOUNG PYO - FOXE - I.CORDOBA, 15 goals against in 26 1st division matches.
