on this note. My friend ALWAYS beats me. I managed to beat him 3-2 as Inter when he was Man City - I was so ashamed. He likes to dribble and use the 'cheap' tactic of dribbling across the box and then turning and shooting and I have no way (so far) of stopping this. Any ideas?

Today I played a mini tournament with my younger brother. Me as France, him as Brazil with the CPU controlling Italy and Argentina. We played a Konami Cup, Round Robin with just the 4 teams in it. Set to 5* and 10 min matches.
First match, Brazil (bro) V Italy (CPU)
He doesn't like me watching him play so I came on here to check how the forum are doing.
He scored after 8 mins but conceded after 67.
He hit the post twice and the bar as well, and was unlucky not to win.
Result:- Brazil 1 - 1 Italy.
Second match:- France (me) V Argentina (CPU)
I happened to check my player form arrows and realised it was set to random (or whatever name we call that system where it's not really random) so I made a couple of changes. My bro didn't know about the form arrows as we normally play on red arrows.
Zidane, dribbles past Veron and a defender to shoot into the bottom left corner from outside the area. Henry scored (can't remember how) and then Zidane scores another with a free kick from the edge of their area.
Result:- France 3 - 0 Argentina.
Third match:- Brazil (bro) V Argentina (CPU)
Result:- Brazil 1 - 0 Argentina
Fourth match:- France (me) V Italy (CPU)
Zidane scores the second goal from a bit outside the area with his first time shot banging into the top left corner.
Result:- France 2 - 0 Italy.
It makes us play the next match against each other even though we wanted the CPU teams to play first. The CPU result is that Italy beat Argentina.
Current standings:
France, P2 W2, 6pts
Brazil, P2 W1 D1, 4pts
Italy, P3 W1 D1 L1, 4pts
Argentina, P3 L3, 0pts
Final match:- France (me) V Brazil (bro)
I'm feeling quite confident. So is he. But I just need to draw to win the cup. We get started. I'm playing 4-4-2 and he's on 3-5-2. BTW, we're playing using Georginho's latest option file on a jonboyo patched version. Everything is as correct as it can be. The squads are up to date and the kits look great. We begin.....
Any predictions?

So the big match begins.....
I have a few chances and for some strange reason, my players miss the goal by inches every time. I keep trying.
Carlos runs up the left wing and crosses. It reaches Kaka at the edge of the box and he takes a touch before volleying in.
1-0 to Brazil.

A big clearance finds Ronaldo on his own. The defenders chase him as he sprints for goal. He approches the edge of the area. I bring the keeper out a bit and then let him go back, hoping he will rush his shot. He goes for a lob and I think the keeper should make it. The shot goes over him and he dives backwards but doesn't get anywhere near it. 2-0 to Brazil. Dagnabbit. I think I can get back in it though. Going for the 2 goals to make a draw.
Great through ball by Zidane puts Henry through 1-on-1. Blasts it past the keeper... 2-1.

Pires header from a corner - is it going in, NO, it goes just past the far post. Zidane shoots and misses. Henry, good skill, lays it off to Zidane who is free in the middle.... first time shot, keeper tips it wide. Getting annoying now....
80th minute counter attack by Brazil. Shot deflected for a corner. Rivaldo takes the corner. Ronaldinho heads, the French keeper jumps and the balls take a slight deflection of his foot in the air, heading for the line.... the defender dives and deflects it across goal... where Edmilson charges in to push it over the line.
Unbelievable. 3-1 to Brazil. I have a couple more shots but there's no time left, helped by his time-wasting passing and big clearances. Dagnabbit.
Result: France 1 - 3 Brazil
I had more shots and possession but he took his chances. He's happy. I'm not. He forces us to watch the Ceremony for his team receiving the cup. Brazilian players dance around. I give them dirty looks.

doh my prediction was wrong oh well
what if he put tha french stats down like put henry's down or zidane's Do wha tha old "ringu " does and give his youngen a dead leg, unless of course hes bigger
