I think I'm going to wait until the price drops on this one. Two reasons..

1) It's EA. I'm guessing it's only a 6-8 hour game
2) It just looks like a third-person Doom 3 too me. Which I didn't really like at all.

It's more like resident evil, I'm on level 6 and have clocked up 4 and so hours and thats on medium.

Christ on a bike! Only played for 30 mins or so and i've shit my pants! I'm not a big fan of these horror games, but wanted to play this and see what it was like. All I can say is, wow. So much tension, awesome graphics, and I love the fact you can push down the right stick (on 360) and it shows you where to go, as I always get lost in these games! Recommend to everyone so far!

This happened to me too when I noticed I had either a gamepad plugged in, or a Guitar Hero controller plugged in. Take out anything other than your main USB stuff and restart the game. Did the trick for me.

Fucking EA and my lovely PS2 controller. Took it out while still in the game and it didn't work. I'll try again.

At least the twonks didn't get my cash.

The menu is a shocker. Even on my native resolution some menu options are off the screen.

I'm absolutely loving this game! Was expecting big things and it hasn't let me down.The use of lighting and sound makes it so atmospheric that you're shitting yoursef walking round every corner, feels like you're in the film Aliens at times.

Going outisde of the ship for the first time was a weird experience aswell. Love the way the sound becomes so quiet with there being no atmosphere or gravity. Definately adds more suspense as you can't hear whether a necromorph is about to spring out on you.

Excellent game this and deffo not one to be missed by anyone.....even those who aren't survival horror fans.
