I've got it but it is shadowed by PES4, MGS3 and many others. I played one match so far, which I won, like the special moves etc.

u mean Def Jam 1 with more stuff?

It is completely different to Def Jam Vendetta. That was mediocre at best, this game is awesome.

What character do you use ..: Hunter :.. ? I created myself on Story Mode, but regretted giving him a smooth talking voice, as it's embarrassing when in conversation with Snoop Dogg, Method Man, D-Mob and the like . In the other modes, I prefer to use Method Man (Blaze), Ludacris and Redman (Doc).
Have you unlocked every mode? The window and inferno matches sound fun. I have to admit i'm finding it quite a tough game. Some of the fighters are real tough bastards. The crowd don't like to help me much either. They seem to prefer smacking me around the head with a shovel .

I just got this game.

It's pretty good. Some of the characters are really tough to beat. And Reyes9 is right, the crowd don't do much to help.

You'll find it gets much easier as you progress and update your skills. I found it a really enjoyable game, it gets better the more you play and learn how to do the special moves. In case you didn't know already, if you see someone in the crowd with a weapon, walk up to them and they should hand it to you, so you can clobber your opponent with it ;)

It would be great if Def Jam 3 manages to sign up other labels, so you can recreate more real-life rap beefs. Might need a name change though  Unlocking legends as you progress in story mode would be good too.

Yeah, it takes ages to get my created fighter's stats to go up. And some fighters are very hard to beat. And sometimes, I can't hit them because the computer keeps on blocking.

I've tried grabbing weapons and whenever I try to move close to a weapon, the computer hits me just in time. And I'm playing on easy mode. I'm telling ya, the computer is really tough. I'd hate to see what it's like on hard mode.

When you upgrade all your skills and buy new moves, it's not too difficult on hard mode. I found it really tough to begin with, but you soon get the hang of it. I found the quicker fighters like Sean Paul impossible to beat at first, but try and make use of the environment and you'll do ok. When you throw a fighter into the wall, pool table, jukebox etc if you press grapple again, your fighter will perform a powerful attack on them, do that a few times and he should be in danger of a KO. On my 2nd story mode attempt, I lost just 2 fights  So that's an idea of how much you can improve (first tme round I lost about 22). The streetfighting, kickboxing and martial arts work really well as the fighting combinations.
