Defenders up from set pieces?

Hey,

I was wondering how to bring up defenders from set pieces such as corners or free-kicks. Tall defenders such as Ferdinand, Terry or Carragher could give my set pieces the extra threat and sharpness to score. Any idea how it is done?

I was trying to press L1 and right or something (change player then manual move up to the corner flag) but it does not work.

Via the pause menu :
Go to formation settings > set play settings > player to go up

Then select which players you want to go up...

Its amazing.I was playing my friend and i was Real Madrid and i told Canavaro and Metzelder to go up for the corners and Canavaro scored 2 from the corner and Metzelder scored one.I love doing that it works alot

The only problem is that I don't have Set Play Settings available from the Formation Settings when I have paused my game (PES2008). The only things available are the standard formation settings. I could go to edit position and drag my CB players up to the box, or change their attack/defence settings to try to make them go up, but I don't have a nice easy option like the one you have. Do you have the UK version of PES or are you playing WE?

Are you sure ? The option should be there on all versions of PES2008

Pause > formation settings >

When you enter formations you should see the above. What do you see ?

- Exit
- Change Player
- Set Formation
- Edit Position
- Team
- Individual
- Data Management
- To Formation Menu

That looks like PES6. Are you sure its PES2008 ?

Er, yes! Sounds like lukas9 is right - it's not in the PS2 version. That makes much more sense than me not knowing the difference between PES6 and PES2008 too...
