Defending Free-kicks

In addition to making the wall jump, standstill or run out you can also position a player right on the goal line beside the post. While a perfectly executed free-kick right into the top-corner should still go in it does help put-off the other player by making him rush the kick and it is possible to defend most balls that come into that area.

nice one buddy! i USED to be able to beat mambo with a well placed free kick from platini all of a sudden he starts putting players on the posts can't think why?

square- everyone jumps
x- no one jumps
()- one or two players run at ball. Those that remain in the wall do not jump
() and x- one or two players break from the wall. Those that remain do not jump

That's where his problems start I think. I didn't get the idea from here anyway. But it works a treat
