They always anticipate, jump higher, head better and sometimes my players aren't in the right place and the not even jump

I tried all... R2, without R2, left right... I don't know... but I can't defend somehow.

Run a guy back onto the goal line where the goalie isnt covering and you can head them away if they're going on target.

it does work btw...

But also, for defending short free-kicks.. press Square just as they kick it. For longer range defending of free-kicks.. i find pressing and holding cirlce and R2 as they are running up to hit the ball will cause your guys to charge the ball down. but like i said before, running a guy onto the line works. you just gotta find a close enough guy quick.

For freekicks, I absolutely agree about running the defender back to the line. He'll probably start running back when u let him go but will be close enough to get a head on it (altho once my defender decided to duck and let the ball in!).

I tend to make my wall jump on all freekicks altho getting them to charge down the kick is also helpful on occasions.

For corners, get a player standing at the near corner of the 6yrd box and he should flick away most corners.
