I think it's the technique of them more than anything else.

What sort of flick-up does Jay-Jay Okocha do? The one with his heel over his head in front of him? A la vs. Martin Keown last season?

EDIT: The Jay-Jay/Ortega flick is no different from any other player's interpretation of the move.

I think the idea of the "special move" are those that only particular players can perform in the game - not simply flicks 'n' tricks, i.e. the step-over.

Thats not totally true, not every special move. Only Del Piero can do his special move.
