Desperate measures

Hello everyone this is a plea to anybody experienced in ripping and patching Proevo3 or We7i (jap).

Some of you may have seen my posts a while back, I had major troubles with ripping my Proevo3 dvd, Still haven't managed to create a rip, and oh how I've tried.

Then I purchased we7i(jap), Looks a lot easier to rip, but just my luck I have the splm...98 version, oh well I thought just do what the guide says and change it to splm...97 and change the system.cnf in notepad...easy peasy....OH NO!

My system.cnf will not open in notepad, so hence I can't change it, have looked all around, my read only box is not ticked etc. It just won't work!

So I am asking anybody who is experienced in such areas to help me,

If there is somebody living in Edinburgh that can come around to my flat and help me out please p.m me, I am so desperate I am willing to pay for your services.

If there is nobody, I will keep trying in vain and eventually be able to try it out on somebody elses pc.

I think there are slpm97 files on lomungtung

Yes, look under WE7I -> jonboyo -> slpm (something like that) you'll probably find what you're after.

what does changing the system.cnf actually do???

i also could not open the file in notepad, so i just left it as it was and changed the .98 to .97

of course i've never got mine to work....
