Okey doke, I've been playing PES for a while now - the last one I played was PES2 and I made a jump to 4 so there's a sh*t load of stuff I'm getting to grips with - I'm doing the master league and have just discovered, by accident that there's a few young players out there that you can train up which I wish I'd known from the start!

What I need help with is development curves, where you find them when you're buying a player and how you check on them, what they mean etc. What does a 'reborn' player mean and finally how do you train players to get special abilities?

im gonna be nice and answer this, but next time you should just browse this forum, everything is pretty much explained...
development curves can only be viewed if the player is on ur roster...they can be accessed from the main master league screen, the icon is listed as player development...
more than a few players can be trained up, your whole team in the offseason can train, and during the season all players under about 26 gain experience pts when they play...if the player plays in his registered position then he gains more pts if he has a good game he gets more pts etc etc....

A reborn player is for instance, in three master league years zidane retires, he will come back as a 17 yr old zidane at some point with lowered stats, you can then sign him and he will develop like any young player

You cannot train players to get special abilities.
