I'm not one for playing too many seasons in ML - four is about average, as by then I've easily got the team I set out to make. I do sign the development players, but I find there's little point in doing it unless you plan to play on for ages. There are the odd few (Orellano & Bos) who start out with good stats, but generally they need a lot of playing time to become decent players.
On top of that, their stats go back to the crappy ones they started with when you play someone in an exhibition or memorial match. Since I normally play against humans as opposed to the Playstation, development players are pretty damn useless for me ...
Am I missing a trick here, or are they only worth having in an extended ML campaign?
