had the game on the snes. it was great. best footy game at the time. u ntil iss deluxe came out. then there were the ones on the 64 which were absolouteley amazing. everyone gets excited about features like showing players get subbed off, 2 player sover the ball on free kicks, iss on the 64 had all these features back in the day. you could even take quick free kicks. there was a ref on the pitch. that yellow line on offsides that was put in pes3 wass already in the iss games on the 64.

Yeah, i've got the megadrive version. Not really that playable now, but its better than the first fifa soccer.

I beg your pardon?
Don't mean to brag but I've had all the ISS/PES games since the first. Still got a few of them, others were passed down the family as newer versions came out. I was introduced to ISS by my best mate while I was playing FIFA.
He said "Lets put this on it's better than FIFA"
I said "bollocks, but put it on anyway"
I was wrong, and so began the romance that still lives today. I love you Konami.

Nice one jMz.

My story is far different because technically nobody introduced me to PES/ISS games. I just happened to pop over my cousins house the day before crimbo. He was reading ''The Official Playstation Magazine'' and as we all know the magazine came with a free demo disc. So me, couz and my bro were just sitting around bored as hell. Me, with the demo disc in hand, just said ''Hey lets see what in this CD'', so I popped in the demo disc. The first playable demo was ''ISS Pro 98'' so I chose it. The demo was available for 2 players, so I got my bro to play. It was only a 45 minute demo, but I can assure you I was at my cousins for hours :) .

also had all the games, this 1 is 1 of my favourite's though, you could score some screamers from the wing from miles out. and the commentator was cool

'goal, goal, gooooooooooooal'

I beg your pardon?
Yeah they should have kept that shout today, even if you have commentary switched off.
Sadly I sampled it in so it says "GOOOOOOOAL" when my PC boots up!

A couple of weeks ago my PS2 broke, and I needed a PES fix. So I put the SNES on and played ISS(that's when I sampled it). Not the same, but it's still a class game considering they had the technology of todays mobile phones to work with. Laughable really. Argentina was the side for me on there. Redonda was class.
