Differenses between pes5 demo(no sound) and pes5 demo with commentary!

ok, i downloaded the no sound demo some weeks ago and i loved it. The gameplay was slower than pes4 and that made it much more realistic. The ball physics felt better and the game was harder. Passing and ball recieving was more difficult and all these new additions made me love the new version of pes because it was so much more realistic.

I just downloaded the new demo(commentary) and i was shocked. The gameplay is faster, why?!

The game feels like pes4 now because of passing and ball recieving being to easy.

Please comment if you feel the same, maybe it's just because i'm not used to it, but why have they made the game faster? it was perfect :(

Very dissapointed with the new demo

No Expander For Voice Version

I think that is the same thing... but the Expander doesn't work with the new version. Please post a demo expander for the voice version

The new demo is more fluid and the players have more control just as the world class players they are

I also noticed that it was too easy to move the ball around... passing, one-touch passes, dribbling.. it's all too easy (compared to the 1st demo)... which makes the game significantly faster...

On the other hand, scoring is 'somehow' more difficult..I can't explain this....

But when u come to think of it, as beautiful as the slow gameplay of the 1st demo was, real world-class players reacted far BETTER to the ball than they did in the 1st demo... maybe if all the teams weren't packed with these star players, the game could have been slower...

Besides, I find scoring methods in the 2nd demo more variable... in the 1st demo, 80% of my goals were by thru passes from Raul to Ronaldo, running past the marking defender, then curling in the ball.... but that's just me.

So it's fast, but is it as fast and easy as PES4? Definetly NO. Scoring is far more difficult, and besides, it isn't as fast as PES4....

So I could just HOPE that KONAMI releases a PES5 that is midway in speed between the 1st demo (slow) and the 2nd one (faster).....

PS - sometimes with the 1st demo, there were moments of slow, bored play... I mean if u look on the long run, you'll be playing this game for an entire year... so maybe making it slightly faster was the right move...

But overall, I prefer the 2nd demo, with some conservations...

Well after another 2 hours of playing, I guess that saying the 2nd demo is plain 'faster'..isn't so true...

I guess the pace is now more 'controlable'... meaning, when ur 0-0 or losing, naturally, you'll be passing all around the field and shooting and dribbling more often, choosing 1-touch passes..etc. and the 2nd demo ALLOWS you to do that...

But when ur ahead 2-0, naturally, you'll be passing the ball at the back a lot, and making careful transverse passes... the game also ALLOWS you to do that... that is the beauty of the game...

While in the 1st demo, in both situations the game was rather slow... yes it was a tad faster when ur losing, but the game wasn't fluid enough to allow you to be fast ENOUGH... So defence was pretty neat and enjoyable, whereas building an attack when ur 2 goals down wasn't fast enough...

In fact, the demo with no sound will be the final version PES5
you can see this demo is called" PES5 Demo 2"

why would they change the gamplay in a newer demo, just to switch back to the older one. I hope they do though :)

In some ways its better... and some ways its worse...

Better because you can create those lovely teamwork goals with quicker passing, but worse because it loses some of the realism factor.

If they keep the speed as the first demo and the accuracy of passing of the 2nd demo.... it will be good.

I have no idea how you work that out lol...

Personally I would guess that Demo2 is the latest one, meaning its how the game is shaping up, however they might be reading forums like this and trying to gain feedback.

Agree.... that is just the best thing that could happen...

The passing and dribbling in the demo with commentary is amazing, but the speed is a bit too fast... but the thing is, the pitch is really beautifully wide, so that kinda compensates the increased speed....

So to increase the fun factor with perservation of realism, combine the speed of the 1st (slow) to the passing and dribbling of the 2nd, and u got the best gameplay possible, and all they have to do for WE10/PES6 is add in the CGI graphics... (I bet everyone's looking forward to that)

I think that the first demo was more challenging - harder to control. In new demo its easier to pass and to score. I also feel that demo 2 is a little faster (not good). I just hope the the final pes5 will be something in between.

Not to be picky but CGI stands for Computer Generated Imagery. Now, how can you have Computer Generated Imagery graphics? Aren't all the graphics computer generated anyway?

I understand what you mean tho. The next-gen consoles will finally catch up to the latest PC's in terms of Direct-X functionality. Lighting and polygons - that's what its all about. From what I've seen FIFA 06 RTWC on the 360 has too dramatic lighting and the players still look wrong. Hope Konami dont go down the road.
