Different development curves for same person?

Hi just asking if anyone has the same experience..

In a 4 Star ML game I bought this Vomme guy, and his dvp curve was superb, like over the red zone. Then I deleted that saved game after a while and started playing 6 stars. I blindly searched for this guy after season 1 and signed him without checking his stats (not his curve). His stats were quite weak but thinking he was the same guy I didn't check. Turns out his dvp curve doesnt even hit the yellow zone, just slightly below it.

Anyone has the same thing? Is it because Im playing a higher diff? But pple like Dagaka are still as good. Are such young wonder players given random stats or something whenever u start a new ML? or higher diff levels give less wunderkids?

Where you can find the dvp curve. I don't know where to look for it. Perhaps this is a stupid question but I never saw the dvp curve before.

Yeah I've had the same experience.
For example, I've read a lot about how good Martin Cranie gets and when I bought him I was sooo disappointed to see that his development curve doesn't even hit the yellow. He will never become more than an average CB. Cesc has also been somewhat disppointing although he will become a pretty decent player (not a superstar though). Other players as Pique and Giuseppe Rossi, for example, have sick dev. curves (barely missing the red).

All in all it seems that for each ML there are slight differences in the potential of young players.

Is there any way of seeing the development curves BEFORE you buy players. Because I bought Fabregas, thinking he'd be great but he's shit.

this has happened to me before also, i think it depends on what age you buy them at. And no, i dont think you can see their growth charts unless you buy him. you can always start up a new master league game, match mode players and see from there though.

They all stop developing at a certain age, thats when you should think about buying a new player to fill the void.

Sigh..Anyway I do think that some players like Dagaka will always be on THE list..maybe these players are the non variables..Ill put my trust in the short guy! The Vomme guy I was talking about was even better than him but I got nuts out of him the 2nd time I bought him. I think we'll all have to see the stats before looking at their names
