Different rosters in game and edit mode

This might be a stupid question... I want to edit players' attributes. In edit mode the rosters are different from the ones I play with (I've downloaded an update). For example in game Howard is in ManU, but in edit mode GK is Barthez. (i guess the teams are original in edit mode)

So: How can I edit the rosters I play with?

when you start a game, the option file is created from the exe, and any edits to the exe from then will not be reflected in game, unless you delete the option file, where you will lose all your pes points etc!

Well... I tried to delete the option file and started the game... I played a match and tried the edit mode. Still the same rosters I don't want... What did I do wrong? =)

This is how the game is.

Original squads in Edit mode.
Updated squads in Match mode.

Maybe it's to help you edit them if they change their appearance or something.
You can't change how it is set up.

You edit the rosters by buying the 3,000 option in the PES shop and then in Team Edit mode, the last option should allow you to change the lineup and formation of any team as you wish.

I've got a similar problem. I installed the Leos Superpatch 2, and I'm pretty happy about it. Except for the fact I'm a huge Anderlecht fan, and the names are not even near up to date. Kompany, the greatest Belgian talent in a decade isn't even there!
So obviously I want to edit the existing data from AFTER the patch, but this never seems to work. Not when I edit ingame, not when I edit with WEditor. What am I doing wrong? How can I edit the players AFTER installing a super/wolf/whateverpatch?
