Different Versions of PES2

Hi everybody,
I was wondering if there are different versions of PES2, because I was playing against a friend with my copy of the game (first time since a couple of weeks, normally I play WE6FE) and then he said that he has different abilities for Oliseh and some other players from Nigeria in his version, he knows the abilities because he plays often with Nigeria, e.g. his Oliseh has shot power 99, in my game its 98. It´s not a huge difference, but its strange.

PS: We don´t have edited the players because he doesn´t edit a lot and I hadn´t any option file for PES2 because I thought I would play this game again. So I had the default settings.

I don't there are different versions of the game.

it's funny you've mensioned that because when I first got my game, I thought that the Holland names came real as standard. This was because after having the game for over a month my friend asked me if I had changed their names. I hadn't touched their names and I just thought it was normal for them to have their real names.

so your pes2 had proper holland names and not oranges 038 and 001?

that's wierd, I didn't think any versions of PES2 had the real player names...

Maybe you bought it with a patch already on it???? (probably not)

thats strange, i didnt think konami would release 2 version of the same game.

Apparently a few people have a version with a few different names and maybe stats too. Not sure where it came from. Maybe it was an incomplete preview version.

Yeah maybe. The names weren't oranges, no. The wierd thing is though when I created a new option file the names were Oranges rather than the real names I had at first.
