Alright i LOVE the pes series. loved em on ps1 and ps2, even loved it on a psp. Yet now i got PES6 on 360 (i thought PES in HD would be good), and i have to say that i'm absolutely gutted. Actually considering returning it... There's just so many things wrong in this game:

The edit mode is obviously extremely poor (discussed already i know), no chance of even renaming clubs?? Unbelievable. So we can only player names now? Yippee... And we all know the lack of stadiums, which also screams of a rushed product. But what i find baffling (after just a small portion of gaming) is the lack of after-match analysis, no saves for replays, and no option to play a fixed position throughout a match. I mean even the PSP had these down! WTF. Who knows what other "treasures" i'll "discover" along the way.

I wouldn't wanna get into criticising the actual gameplay yet as that usually resolves in time... But even that feels bizarre! Where are the powerful shots in this one? Every shot feels like it takes ages to get to the goalie, gently floating through the air. And it's not me pressing the lob button either.

For the first time EVER i'm actually thinking if FIFA07 would be better for the 360. :no:

what the hell has happened? can someone fill me in on the ps2 version's problems? (i'm too lazy to read through the forums) has konami lost it, or has seabass been hittin the crackpipe or something...

btw also another problem with the 360 online bit: no-one's fukkin there! yes it might be cos few have bought it yet, but i doubt it. at the moment the whole situation just stinks

Everybody knew what was missing in pes6, i.e. no edit, only 8 stadiums and yet there are people on here saying they have bought the game and know thinking of taking it back cos of these short comings!! eh, i just dont get some of you guys, if you were pissed by these things mising, dont go buy the game and then bitch about it. If you wanna go buy fifa, go buy it and shut already. Personally i think the gameplay is excellent and yes its disappointing with the lack of options but fifa sucks so like it and lump it....hopefully only till next year.

I agree but thinking about it, it seems that they have a totally knew concept of playing, its like a total new game, you just need to get used to it. There is something like 150 new moves, techniques ect.

alf, i know i don't want to come across as a PES basher just because i was expecting more. i still love the PES series. just sad to discover that some features are missing from the game... features that have been prominent in the series for quite some time now.

and you say that everyone knew PES6's faults? i don't think so, and imo it shouldn't be mandatory to read previews/rumours/ from internet forums of a renowned football series just to learn what features are missing in its next iteration.

if anything, we should expect all the usual features of the past and more new ones! isn't that what next gen is supposed to be about?
and btw: no i do not want to get a FIFA game. it's just that up to this point i've never even had to CONCIDER it.

i got the game 2day, a day early as i have done 4all 5other games they have released by konami, but today was different in that rather than buying it for a sony product, i got it for a microsoft product and wot have they been at for the last year.

t plays an excelent game, i tink super actuly bt my god.wen u start a game and you wish to bring aimar on for a defensive midfielder like cambiaso, you can move him round bt cnt change him to his position of attacking midfield.

it feels as if they just made d ps2 version and than spent d last wk on d 360version.theres a total of 8stadiums,i dnt tink theres even clasic players.theres no international challenge mode like ps2.

i havent had a chance to play online yet bt thats even spose to b crap in comparison to ps2,even though d ps2 is shite online in comparison to 360.i cnt even edit d bloody names of teams or stadiums Y.

wil sum1 asnswer me a q, cn konami release an update wer that cn correct all dis r are we spose to take dis joke as there effort after a year.
