Pes 2008 was and is the best ever PES game.

I am really dissapointed with 2010 game. Stiff game like 2009. Iam a fan of virtua striker 2 and PES 2008. Konami should make more football\ soccer games, not one at the time, in 24 months they have made 2 disaster games. I will still play 2008. I hope KONAMI can do it better next time. Maybe iam going to buy FIFA 10.

are you joking?!!?!?!?! pes 2008 was the worst football game ever made(for its geneneration) then followed by 09, pes6 was the best so i dont know what you call football, pes 2008 was just immense speed so you could beat every player on the pitch not real football. so its obvious you were a cut back queen. try getting out and see how football is actually played in real life is you think pes08 was good. im not saying that 2010 is good but its better than 08 and 09, i still refer to pes6 as the best pro evo and so do many others. but once again fifa is better this year and has been after Konami released an truly terrible pes2008. I'm sorry but i have to say, you do not know what football is if you think 08 was the best.

Agreed 2008 was awful.The issues with 2010 are teams play like barca on harder settings and pass the ball around like brazil,and defenders catch the fastest players with ease and rob you of the ball way too easily.Trying to dribble by defenders seems incredibly difficult on harder settings and leads to alot of frustration.First time shots are poor.And sadly keepers are still iffy and make awful mistakes.PES 6 was the best version on the ps2.

A football game is a fantasy. And if Messi and Cristiano can dribble a hole team alone, like in pes 2008, yes then its the best game. Yes we love individuals like Maradona,Romario,Ronaldo Phenomeno, Robinho,Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Zidane, Eto'o, George Weah, Henry Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka , Stoichkov, Speed and agility, joga bonito. Thats football. Entertaiment. Pes 2010 is made for boring peoples. Its slow and boring. Like watching Old boys football instead of el clasico.

Real football can you watch on saturdays on a pub.

Give us joga bonito lovers a good KONAMI game.

Iam dissapointed this time.

2010 is waste.

i play 06 and 2008.

2008 was awful but I really enjoyed 2009. Out of the most recent (not counting 2010 as I haven't played it enough) I'd say it goes:

^ I agree that pes 5 was better than pes6. Many people seem to have a glorified relationship to that game.. In general i liked pes09, even though it was too easy to beat man u, real etc 6-0 playing as ifk goteburg on top player.

This year it's more challenging in my opinion..

I'm very dissapointed to. This game is better then PES08 and 09 but still not good enough. It's a disgrace they released it in my opinion and this will be the last PES I buy. CRAPgame...

Id say PES5 has been the best game also.I much prefer the gameplay this year over last.My biggest gripe is i bought FIFA10 this year just to try Manager Mode and its pretty good but-
No development graphs (THEN KONAMI LEAVE THAT OUT!)
Players just transferring away from my team without my knowledge!
These reasons alone have put FIFA10 back on the shelf.
PES 5 was the first time i became hooked on a football game,so well done Konami.Leaving those graphs out has just made the game too dificult.Theres enough to do without spending time developing players who may not come upto scratch.If those graphs have been there for years and nobody has complained,why remove them?Why ever have them, if in real life we dont have them?
My point is i would think all the PES gamers over the years have used the development graph.Decided whether or not to buy a player,or sat with a chuffed grin when youve made Aguero or Benzema fly high above the predicted curve!It was a unique point of PES,maybe unreal but very useful and definately sadly missed.
