does anyone know how to dive because i ave been told on several occasions that it is possible n neva figured out how .... anyone know ??

It was possible on FIFA 98-99 i know that for sure, never come across it on PES? I presume your talking about PES 3?

if on pes3? then cant be done im sure

but on pes4/we8 it can be doen i have heard something like pressing L1 R1 or something got to be total crap i think

There is no way of diving by the press of a button, but by some cunning play u can con the referees in PES, especially when playing against my mates, i nearly always seem 2 get penalties just by lurking around the opposition's area if their is not much support and then knocking the ball past them and oops ive fallen, thats a penalty thanku!

by diving you mean simulating foul? well, it seems that computer sometimes cheats at penalty area and dive... he falls so theatrically -> you can clearly see this in replays, luckily referees are smart enough to don't be cheated... my own players also did something like simulating one or two times... always on penalty area -> and it seems that's done automatically

im pretty sure u can dive cos my friend ,im sure he does it against me cos he will go next to me and not actually touch me and he teases me by sayin ''do ya like ma dive'' n he will just fall over ..... there is a way but i dont know how....

It's all mumbo jumbo IMO. You can't dive in WE8 or any previous games.

I don't think you can dive but in 3 matches in WE8, I've received 3 penalties - some of which were just for normal nudging contact. I think it depends on which ref you use.

maybe but i will continue to persue the option of diving as i think it wud be great to ave it on da game but not by da press of a button .. maybe by pressing L2 and R2 together maybe..

if Konami put diving on pes4 it will be sort of good and sort of bad!

i.e

if your playing a really tense match with a mate like it was 2-2 or something and in the last minute your mate just dived and got a penalty!
i would go crazy if that happened . . . .

yeh id get pissed off 2, but it certainly adds 2 the realism then. As long as both players have around the same chances of diving and getting a penalty it would b quite gud i think. They should change it so that the away side can never get penalties at Old Trafford though!

it wud be a crap idea to have diving. i could see it getting as annoying as the hand balls and crap advantage decisions. it would just b another thing that everyone would moan about in the forums

I know you can't dive in any of the WE series or PES series but i swear there was this con that if you do stepovers and your tackled near the end its nearly always given. And it dosent matter where its performed.
